As our Fleet Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting and executing daily fleet operations. In your partnership, you will ensure vehicles and trailers are compliant, safe, and ready for use while overseeing administrative responsibilities such as purchase orders, inspections, and financial reconciliation. To thrive in this role, you will use your attention to detail, organization and project management skills to serve as a backup to warehouse operations and support various regulatory and compliance-related initiatives.
This position requires on-site presence at 5050 S Towne. Dr. New Berlin, WI 53151 at least twice week or as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Fleet operations and compliance. You will conduct and document pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and coordinate vehicle and trailer maintenance and repair, including accident response and damage claims. You will also manage vehicle prep for deployment, including cleaning, setup, and inspections, and ensure DOT compliance for all vehicles and trailers, including registration. You must have a valid driver’s license.
- Administrative support. You will assist with organizing fleet files and documentation. You will be responsible for reconciling credit card queues and performing fuel card audits while monitoring fuel usage. You will process and manage purchase orders, including maintaining network submissions, and ensure the reconciliation of third-party service invoices.
- Logistics coordination. You will support transportation logistics, including vehicle deployment and routing while researching maintenance locations and sourcing new vendors as needed. You will also coordinate with internal departments to facilitate vehicle movement and repairs, ensuring seamless operations and effective team communication.
- Solution-oriented. You can solve problems and troubleshoot as needed. You think quickly on your feet and have natural sensibility.
- Self-starter. You are a highly organized, natural self-starter. You anticipate the needs of our internal and external partners and take ownership of addressing them.
- Flexibility. You are willing to work in a hybrid environment, working in our New Berlin, WI office at least twice a week or as needed.
The annual range for this role varies between $46,000- $53,000 and may vary depending on the candidate’s experience. Benefits for this role include health/vision/dental insurance, 401k, employee stock purchase plan, vacation, personal days and paid holiday time.
