About the Role:

The Revenue Operations team at Motive is a high-impact, cross-functional group that drives our Quote-to-Cash (QTC) strategy, optimizes key processes, and ensures peak performance across our core business metrics. We thrive on tackling complex operational challenges partnering with GTM, Legal, Accounting, and Finance, delivering practical, high-leverage solutions that help Motive scale efficiently. We are a low-ego, highly motivated team dedicated to cross-functional collaboration and decisive execution.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead QTC Improvement Initiatives: Scope, manage, and execute targeted 3–12 month projects aimed at streamlining the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle, reducing deal friction, and improving cycle times.
  • Partner with Enterprise GTM: Collaborate closely with Enterprise Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, and Finance to identify operational bottlenecks and align on cross-functional solutions.
  • Optimize CPQ & Billing Workflows: Audit existing quote, contract, and invoicing processes to identify gaps, automate manual handoffs, and enhance system adoption.
  • Map & Redesign Core Processes: Define clear, scalable process workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and governance models across the end-to-end revenue lifecycle.
  • Drive Change Management: Own user enablement, documentation, and training to ensure smooth rollouts and high adoption rates for updated QTC tools and processes.
  • Track & Measure Performance: Establish KPIs to evaluate the success of project rollouts—monitoring metrics such as quote turnaround time, error rates, and deal velocity.
  • Serve as the QTC Subject Matter Expert: Act as a key consultative resource for business partners, bridging technical system configuration with business strategy.

What We're Looking For:

  • 6+ years of Field Sales/Revenue Operations experience at a high-growth SaaS company, including direct support of an Enterprise or Strategic segment
  • Exceptional spreadsheet and data management skills to quickly structure analyses, answer key business questions, and drive decision making
  • Experience in building Salesforce reports and dashboards, knowledge in how SFDC applications integrate with each other, and ability to enable sales on SFDC best practices and related tools
  • Experience partnering with Sales Leadership, ESYS, Accounting, Finance and Supply chain
  • Experience scoping and reviewing analytical work delivered by offshore or distributed teams
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter — you will take the initiative to own projects and can operate well with little guidance
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple concurrent projects in a rapidly changing, hyper-growth environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excel and Google Sheets expertise is a must; SQL proficiency and hands-on experience in a notebook-based analytics tool such as Hex querying a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake is strongly preferred
  • Genuine AI proficiency and curiosity — you already use LLMs in your daily work and have built something real with agent, scripting, or workflow automation tooling (Glean, Google Apps Script, n8n, or equivalent). We are an AI-first operations team, and we value operators who build their own solutions
  • Note: This individual will work a hybrid schedule in-office (2 days a week), if within the Bay Area.
