Communications Lead - CE

The Communications Lead will be responsible for shaping Goodman’s public image across Continental Europe, managing its reputation, and ensuring alignment with global communications and public affairs strategies.

  • Play an important role in growing awareness of Goodman’s capability and brand, communicating our position as providers of essential infrastructure and building trust and credibility
  • Support local teams in developing and implementing strategies to engage with public authorities and strengthen Goodman’s position in discussions.
  • Ensure high-quality, strategic communication, consistent brand management, and strong stakeholder relationships. The role is responsible for the content in our external and internal communications and overseeing PR and (social) media management across six European markets through a variety of channels.
  • Leading a team of 5 Marketing & communication professionals

More concretely, this means you will get the opportunity to:

  • Support and advise project teams in developing and implementing stakeholder management strategies, particularly in relation to public authorities and during public inquiries. Collaborate with external consultants in public affairs as needed.
  • Leverage PR expertise to manage and enhance Goodman’s image and reputation. Develop messaging and content that align with the group’s branding strategy while tailoring it to the needs of specific European markets, addressing diverse audiences such as customers, local governments, media, investors, and the Goodman team.
    • Oversee the development and implementation of regional campaigns across Europe, ensuring messaging and visuals are localized to effectively engage stakeholders in each market. Track performance and optimize campaigns for maximum impact.
    • Manage the digital media strategy and budget, including social media, paid media, and other digital channels, to ensure content reaches the right audiences at optimal frequency and cost. Maximize reach, engagement, and ROI through targeted campaigns.
  • Manage crisis communication and incident response, ensuring swift, clear, and effective messaging during public relations or operational challenges.
  • Oversee media relations, ensuring effective press releases and social media campaigns are aligned with our communication objectives. Lead media strategy and provide direction to teams in executing campaigns.

 

Do you recognize yourself?

  • 7-10 years experience in public relations, public affairs and communication for corporate clients

  • Experience in political and public stakeholder sensitive matters

  • Native in English, solid knowledge in French, Spanish and German is a plus

  • Ability to collaborate across teams and manage projects independently
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Experience managing media and PR issues

  • People management skills

  • Knowledge and experience with digital marketing and social media channels
