Through its purpose-built solutions for carbon accounting, supplier engagement, audit-grade reporting, and renewable energy procurement, combined with expert advisory support, Green Project enables companies to move beyond reporting to real, measurable decarbonization.

Trusted by 100+ procurement leaders and 5,000 suppliers across 40+ countries, including Microsoft and S&P Global, Green Project empowers procurement and sustainability teams to deliver credible Scope 3 progress, lower risk, and higher resilience across global supply chains.

Job Overview: As an Enterprise Account Executive for the UK market, you will partner with some of the country’s largest and most complex organisations to help them decarbonise their supply chains.

This is a senior, consultative sales role operating at the intersection of procurement, sustainability, finance, and IT. You will guide organisations of differing sustainability maturities through long, multi-stakeholder buying processes, helping them translate climate commitments, regulatory/client pressure and supplier complexity into decisive action.

You will not simply sell software, you will act as a trusted advisor, shaping how enterprises approach Scope 3 emissions, supplier engagement, and long-term decarbonisation strategies.

Responsibilities:

•    Drive new enterprise revenue by engaging the UK’s largest organisations across manufacturing, retail, healthcare, financial services, and professional services.
•    Lead complex, consultative sales cycles with organisations at varying levels of sustainability maturity, from early-stage programmes to global climate leaders.
•    Educate senior stakeholders on practical, scalable approaches to supply chain decarbonisation, translating climate ambition into executable procurement and supplier strategies.
•    Navigate and build alignment across procurement, sustainability, finance, IT, and executive leadership to drive consensus and decision-making.
•    Execute sales strategies aligned to traditional, risk-averse enterprise procurement cycles while maintaining momentum and urgency.
•    Identify high-impact decarbonisation use cases within customers’ value chains and position Green Project as a long-term strategic partner.
•    Continuously refine enterprise sales methodology by incorporating learnings from long decision cycles and complex stakeholder dynamics.
•    Capture customer insights and feedback to strengthen Green Project’s value proposition and inform product and advisory roadmap priorities.

Requirements:

•    8 years of B2B software or platform sales experience, with 5+ years closing enterprise accounts.
•    A proven track record of closing £200k+ annual contracts within 6–12 month sales cycles.
•    Experience selling into or working closely with procurement teams and enterprise buying committees.
•    Exposure to sustainability, climate, ESG, or supply chain transformation (or a strong ability to quickly build credibility in these domains).
•    Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder deals across procurement, finance, IT, sustainability, and C-suite.
•    Experience acting as a strategic advisor, guiding organisations through change in traditionally conservative or risk-averse industries.
•    A consultative selling style with the ability to translate technical and regulatory complexity into clear business outcomes.
•    Strong communication skills, equally effective with technical practitioners and senior executives.
•    A business-outcome mindset, with the ability to articulate ROI frameworks and demonstrate measurable decarbonisation, risk reduction, and supplier impact.
•    A genuine motivation to help large organisations turn climate commitments into real, system-wide emissions reduction.

Salary Range:

£95,000 – £115,000 per year + commission. Actual base pay may vary based on various factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, level and location. The base pay is just one component of the total competitive compensation package for employees.

What We Offer:

  • A dynamic and fast-paced work environment, with significant opportunities for growth and professional development.
  • The chance to be part of and lead a growing, fast-moving team and make a significant impact on the environment.
  • A competitive salary and benefits package.
  • A supportive and inclusive culture, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.

Don't meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Green Project we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
