Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native), Shopping AI & Search

About the Role: What’s in the Box

Join the Shopping AI & Search squad in our Warsaw office, part of the Shopping Journey tribe. You’ll build AI Assistant experiences on iOS and Android, including conversational search, personalized recommendations, and in-app assistant features, to help customers find and order what they love.

What You’ll Do: The Recipe

  • Build and evolve a high-scale React Native app that serves AI-powered shopping experiences across our brands.
  • Integrate LLM-powered features on the device, designing for latency, cost, non-determinism, and graceful degradation.
  • Own features end to end, from RFC to rollout, using feature flags, analytics, and A/B tests.
  • Work with GraphQL (Apollo Federation) APIs and own app reliability and performance.
  • Help shape mobile architecture across the tribe and lead medium-to-large technical initiatives.

What You’ll Bring: The Ingredients

  • Strong React and TypeScript experience, ideally with React Native. Experienced React web engineers are welcome to apply.
  • Daily hands-on use of AI-assisted coding tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot) and interest in production GenAI features.
  • A track record of shipping consumer apps at scale, with solid knowledge of state management, navigation, and performance.
  • Ownership of code quality, including unit, integration, and E2E testing, code review, and pre-release checks.
  • Strong collaboration skills across backend, AI, product, and design teams.

Nice to Have

  • LLM integration in production, native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) experience, multi-market feature flags, A/B testing tools, and search or recommendation systems.
