Are you passionate about creating impactful experiences and delivering well-executed events? As the Events Manager at Index Exchange, you’ll oversee the planning and execution of various events, ensuring they align with company goals and provide meaningful engagement opportunities. Your meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage budgets will be key to delivering high-quality experiences. This role reports to the Head of International Marketing and works closely with the broader marketing team and stakeholders across the company. 

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute an annual event calendar and strategy.  
  • Manage event planning and execution, including logistics, vendor coordination, and attendee experience.  
  • Ensure events align with company objectives and contribute to brand awareness and customer engagement.  
  • Oversee budgets, making strategic decisions to maximize impact while maintaining financial responsibility 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure events are seamlessly integrated into broader marketing and commercial strategies.  
  • Evaluate and optimize event performance through post-event analysis and feedback. 
  • Stay current on industry trends and bring innovative ideas to event planning.  
  • Ensure that inclusivity and sustainability remain central in event planning and execution. 

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of experience in event marketing, preferably within the tech/digital advertising industry.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.  
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.  
  • Experience managing budgets and making data-driven decisions.  
  • A customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality experiences.  
  • Proven ability to manage events from conception to completion.  
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across teams and with external partners.  
  • Self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset who thrives in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills to measure and improve event effectiveness.
