Embedded Software Engineer

Job Duties
Develop the embedded software according to software requirements and design documents. Translate the software specifications to software requirements, create software design, and unit test plans. Responsible for software configuration management and integration. Testing the software according to unit test plans and maintaining the software program. Fixing bugs and optimizing the system. Provide required software support for IC bring up and IC evaluation. Create driver libraries for the IC. Meeting with the IC design team and marketing team to determine software specifications.
Required Education
Master of Science degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, or Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related.

Additional Minimum Requirements
Academic semester-long coursework, internship, or 6 months of work or internship experience in each of the following:
- Complete life cycle of embedded software systems;
- Embedded software programming, C, C++, real time operating system coding techniques;
- Microcontroller programming and debugging techniques;
- UART, I2C, SPI, MISRA, SPICE.
40 hours / week. Job site Aliso Viejo, CA. Salary $129,667 – $130,000 / year. EOE
