Learn more about our flexible approach to where we work.

Why this role is on the menu

Instacart's Consumer CRM team delivers billions of messages a year across email, push, SMS, and in-app, and Q4 is our busiest stretch of the year. We're hiring a Lifecycle Marketing Coordinator to be the execution backbone of our CRM programs, building, QA'ing, and launching campaigns accurately and on time so Lifecycle Managers can focus on strategy and experimentation. This role sits at the intersection of hands-on campaign production and cross-functional coordination, and the person who fills it will see how their work shapes the customer journey and drives growth. A year from now, the team will launch more priority campaigns and run more experiments because this person is in the seat.

What you'll cook up in your first year

  • Created more capacity for growth by taking meaningful execution work off Lifecycle Managers' plates, enabling the team to launch more priority campaigns and experiments.
  • Made campaign delivery more dependable by consistently shipping accurate campaigns on time, with fewer avoidable errors and less rework.
  • Improved operational efficiency by simplifying recurring workflows, reducing manual effort and turnaround time while maintaining quality.
  • Strengthened the customer experience by surfacing and helping resolve outdated content, broken links, and targeting or personalization issues across live programs.
  • Turned campaign learnings into business improvements by spotting opportunities in results and execution insights, helping the team fix underperforming campaigns, expand what works, and prioritize work with greater impact.

The secret ingredients we're looking for

You take pride in delivering accurate, effective campaigns and genuinely enjoy the hands-on work of building and launching them. You're technically curious, quick to learn new tools, and bring an analytical mindset: you ask thoughtful questions about what drives campaign performance and want to learn how to turn results into improvements. You communicate proactively, keep many moving pieces on track, and flag blockers early.

Must-have pantry staples (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Hands-on CRM execution experience (typically 1–3 years), including personally building, QA'ing, and launching campaigns in an email service provider (ESP) or marketing automation platform
  • Strong attention to detail, with a thorough approach to checking campaign content, links, targeting, and setup
  • Organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once and keep work moving
  • Proactive communication: clear status updates, coordination with partners, and early flagging of blockers
  • Technical curiosity and analytical thinking, including comfort learning new tools, troubleshooting issues, and asking questions about campaign performance

Optional garnishes (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Braze experience, helping you ramp quickly on our platform
  • Exposure to segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing, plus basic campaign reporting and interpreting results to identify improvements
  • Experience supporting automated lifecycle journeys (onboarding, retention, win-back), ideally in a consumer app or e-commerce business with recurring customer engagement
  • Examples of improving workflows or using AI tools to reduce manual work, strengthen QA, or simplify documentation
