Position Overview

Iterable is seeking a visionary and experienced Vice President of Value Engineering to lead and harmonize key technical and consultative teams, including Solution Consulting, Demo Database, Solution Engineering, and Solution Architecture. This role is critical to driving alignment and maximizing the utilization of these specialized teams to support the customer lifecycle and enable Iterable’s field teams to deliver exceptional business outcomes. The VP of Value Engineering will operate effectively at all levels, from engaging with executive leadership to supporting individual team members, and will thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance, and adaptable environment. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in managing these functions at a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership and Team Development

    • Build, lead, and inspire high-performing global teams across Solution Consulting, Demo Database, Solution Engineering, and Solution Architecture.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and adaptability, driving professional growth and operational excellence.
    • Maximize team utilization by ensuring the right resources are deployed to the right opportunities at the right time, driving measurable business results.

2. Harmonization of Teams and Processes

    • Streamline and integrate the operations of all Value Engineering functions to deliver a seamless and consistent experience for customers and field teams.
    • Implement scalable, repeatable processes and frameworks that enhance collaboration, efficiency, and impact across all teams.
    • Ensure alignment of resources and activities with customer acquisition, retention, and expansion strategies.

3. Customer Lifecycle and Field Team Support

    • Align the Value Engineering organization with Iterable’s customer lifecycle, enabling field teams to execute effectively and consistently across the globe.
    • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver high-impact demos, technical validations, and solution designs that align with customer needs.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to key customers, articulating the business value of Iterable’s solutions and ensuring their successful adoption and long-term satisfaction.

4. Execution of Iterable’s Value Proposition

    • Develop and refine methodologies to clearly communicate Iterable’s unique value proposition, demonstrating how its solutions drive tangible business outcomes for customers.
    • Oversee the creation and evolution of dynamic, scalable demo environments that showcase Iterable’s capabilities in real-world scenarios.
    • Continuously enhance the technical and business value that Iterable delivers to customers, ensuring competitive differentiation.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Influence

    • Serve as a cross-functional leader, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing to align on customer-centric initiatives and strategies.
    • Provide actionable insights to Product teams based on market trends, customer feedback, and technical requirements, shaping the product roadmap.
    • Lead cross-functional account and strategy reviews, ensuring alignment and progress toward shared objectives.

6. Operational Excellence and Global Impact

    • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of Value Engineering initiatives and their impact on customer outcomes and revenue growth.
    • Operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels, ensuring the team can adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
    • Leverage global experience to scale processes, systems, and teams, driving consistent results across regions.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in Solution Consulting, Value Engineering, or similar technical and consultative roles in B2B SaaS, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven success leading and scaling teams responsible for pre-sales, technical validation, and solution design for complex, global enterprises.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement repeatable and scalable processes that maximize team efficiency and impact.
  • Experience managing and harmonizing cross-functional teams in fast-paced, high-performance organizations with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Strong understanding of the SaaS customer lifecycle and go-to-market strategies, with a focus on customer acquisition, retention, and expansion.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to operate at all levels, from individual contributor support to executive engagements.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Deep technical expertise in customer engagement platforms, martech, or related SaaS solutions.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience leading global teams and scaling operations to drive consistent results worldwide.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus

The US base salary range for this position at the start of employment is $196,000 - $292,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by specific US work location, as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and internal equity considerations.

Please note that the range listed above reflects only base salary. The total compensation package includes variable pay (where applicable), equity, plus a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and financial. In addition, we offer perks such as generous stipends for health & fitness and learning & development, among others.
