We are looking for a multifaceted Senior Solutions Consultant with experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry. The Senior Solutions Consultant is responsible for proactively consulting, mentoring, and encouraging adoption of our products and services to a portfolio of Aerospace and Defense customers ensuring achievement of sustained value from Jama Software. In this position, you will be a domain expert in Jama Software’s products and offerings that align Jama Connect to industry relevant System Engineering methodologies.

You’ll be working with your manager, our Director of Solutions and Consulting, to achieve the goals of this vertical! You'll also partner with Solution Consultants and Solutions Architects across the Aerospace and Defense vertical.

What You'll Do: 

  • Lead comprehensive training sessions, both onsite and remotely, for the effective use of Jama Connect.
  • Develop and disseminate standard process documentation and enablement resources to improve our delivery capabilities.
  • Facilitate customer workshops to guide strategic decisions concerning the alignment of Jama Connect Aerospace and Defense solution with the client’s requirements and verification processes.
  • Proactively own and lead multiple customer engagements, collaborating directly with clients to assess engineering process enhancements using our Traceability Score and Benchmarking services.
  • Identify and address potential barriers hindering end-user adoption of our solutions and proactively seek resolutions.
  • Collaborate with the Solution Lead to refine, expand, and iterate our Aerospace and Defense solution offerings.
  • Partner with Solution Lead and vertical sales leadership to shape and implement Aerospace and Defense business strategies.
  • Cultivate relationships with engineering leaders responsible for process outcomes, driving performance improvement through Jama Software’s suite of products and solutions.

What You'll Bring: 

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in requirements analysis, test management, and digital engineering methodologies within the Aerospace and Defense industry. 
  • Proven track record in leadership roles such as Consulting Manager, Process Consultant, Systems Engineer, Requirements Manager, or Product Manager. 
  • Extensive experience overseeing the implementation of SaaS software solutions, with a focus on driving user adoption and identifying expansion opportunities. 
  • Highly driven and self-motivated, capable of effectively owning a diverse portfolio of multiple concurrent customer engagements. 
  • In-depth knowledge of system engineering, requirements management, test management, and functional safety practices within the Aerospace and Defense domain. 
  • Proficiency in basic scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
  • Exceptional presentation, meeting facilitation, and interpersonal communication abilities. 

Nice to Have: 

  • Experience facilitating process and quality maturity level evaluations for their customers. 
  • Direct experience implementing Jama Connect at your organization.
