About the Job

We are seeking a business-oriented Commercial Counsel Attorney with 5+ years of experience negotiating advertising and ad tech agreements to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with teams across Life360 to support the growth of our advertising business alongside the Life360 family of consumer mobile software applications and hardware devices, including Tile and Pet GPS.

In this position, you will be responsible for commercial legal work enabling the entirety of Life360’s programmatic, direct and self-service advertising platform services. You will work closely with our Privacy and Product attorneys to ensure our commercial commitments comply with relevant laws. You will help build the templates, playbooks, and processes that let us close deals quickly while protecting the company and our members. The position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated advertising transactions, to shape how a high-growth consumer business approaches ad tech, and to learn alongside a collaborative legal team. You will report to the Deputy General Counsel for Commercial, Litigation & IP, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Ads, Finance, Product, Privacy, Engineering, and Marketing.

For candidates based in the US, the salary range for this position is $163,000 to $237,500 USD. • Partner with Privacy, Product, and Engineering to make sure advertising deal terms match how our products and data practices work.
  • Track developments in advertising and privacy law and industry standards (including IAB terms), and apply them to contract strategy and client counseling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align legal recommendations with business objectives while protecting Life360 and our members.
