Technical Integrations Specialist, Partnerships

Remote

At MCG, we lead the healthcare community to deliver patient-focused care. We have a mission-driven team of talented physicians and technical experts developing our evidence-based content and innovating our products to accelerate improvements in healthcare. If you are driven to enhance the US healthcare system, MCG is eager to have you join our team. We cultivate a work environment that nurtures personal and professional growth, and this is a thrilling time to become a part of our organization. With dynamic roles that offer meaningful impact, you'll be able to fully realize your potential. Plus, you'll enjoy world-class benefits and the security, stability, and resources of our parent company, Hearst, with over 100 years of experience.

As a Technical Integration Specialist on the Strategic Alliances team, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between MCG product vision and technical implementation with different systems and technologies, driving the user experience within partner ecosystems. You may think of yourself as a translator between MCG and our partners’ technical resources. You will be working with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, etc.) to make our products work in harmony with any EMR and Medical Management System. MCG partners cover most of the healthcare IT systems in the United States.

This role requires an understanding of data exchange standards, preferably in the healthcare domain, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MCG’s software and guidelines with partner systems. The person in this role is passionate about customer experience and healthcare innovation.

You will:

Partners may integrate with MCG for electronic medical records (Providers), medical management systems (Payors), population health systems and marketplaces. As well as leading integration work with ODG by MCG for insurance suites that cover workers’ compensation, disability platforms with the goal to unite payers, providers, and employers in their efforts to confidently and effectively return people to health.
  • Schedule partner integration meetings, manage questions via email as well as track partner cases through the Technical Support Team queue. Lead partner integration meetings, own and disseminate notes from each meeting and update the individual partner project plan for each integration project.
  • Support annual partner technical and clinical reviews, termed “certifications” to ensure the technical and clinical integration workflows reflect the current MCG documentation along with supporting partner certification readiness.
  • Maintain and review, quarterly, the partner integration versions for correctness in Salesforce, Salesforce contacts, and the source of truth for partner integration details and data sharing, The Partner Integration Summary.
  • Provide App Market application leadership and coordination where MCG is leveraged through the vendor partner’s marketplace, including app market message intake and dissemination to impacted teams. For example, the Senior Software Engineering Manager would be notified when MCG receives a marketplace message, from an EMR partner, which could impact the MCG FHIR offering.
  • Track integration project plans in project management software (Smartsheet or similar) and share those via Salesforce and / or companywide reporting.
  • Become an expert in MCG technical guides to answer questions and guide partners to the best integration result for mutual customers. Leverage the MCG Document Chatbot trained to respond to queries on MCG User Assistance documents, development and implementation guides.
  • Support the teams that maintain the internal source of truth for partner integrations linking to; mapping documents, integration worksheets and recordings of the integration to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability.
  • Provide support for client in-house integrations as needed with the Customer Success and Product Teams at MCG.
  • Leverage your interpersonal skills to interact with partner resources including executives, architects, developers, clinicians, and other key personnel.
  • Collaborate effectively with Product Management, Solution Architects in Sales Operations, Customer Success, and Clinical Support Team, ensuring clear communication throughout the integration process and creatively proposing ideas for better partner experience and / or integration with MCG. Translate these ideas to Product and User Assistance to enhance the written MCG documentation.
  • Keep up with healthcare interoperability trends and share insights with the Product team to improve or create new integrations with partners.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Solid understanding of technical concepts related to APIs, data mapping, and healthcare data security.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve integration issues, ensuring smooth implementations for our customers.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
