The Sales Solution Architect – Payer Market is responsible for playing a critical part in driving successful sales engagements by providing in-depth clinical expertise and technical knowledge to potential clients. The Sales Solution Architect (SSA) will understand complex clinical workflows, articulate solution value, and bridge the gap between clinical requirements and technical capabilities to position MCG’s products and services as optimal solutions for healthcare organizations. 

As part of the MCG Sales client-facing team, this position will work closely with the Sales, Account Management, Implementation, Product, and Sales Operations teams. The SSA will partner with Sales Executives to identify key business problems prospects and customers are facing and then map appropriate MCG solutions to demonstrate the value of solving each problem. The SSA will be a strategic partner for Sales providing recommendations, helping to identify and offer suggestions, and assisting in the detection of potential concerns or obstacles related to every opportunity.

You Will:

· Partner with the Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Operations teams to understand client and prospective needs during the sales process and propose optimal solutions that meet these needs, while aligning with our core technology platform and capabilities 

· Expert user of all MCG software products, configuration, and customization tools. 

· Deliver solution presentations/demonstrations tailored to customers’ requirements and pain points. 

· Build relationships with business partners, internal and external, to become a trusted advisor. 

· Manage discussions with various levels of customers’ IT technical and clinical audiences. 

· Possess a deep understanding of the business problems that align with each of the MCG solutions along with the clinical and financial benefit of each solution. 

· Partner with the Manager of Sales Operations & Analytics to develop product-specific ROI and economic models to deliver to clients. 

· Partner with Marketing to create and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications to present to clients as well as update other collateral as the market/solutions change. 

· Participate in company projects around software development to provide feedback on the design and development of solutions, including configuration specifications, custom software/system integrations, data migrations, interfaces with solution offerings and process automation. 

· Provide voice of customer input to the product and customer success teams from experience in customer conversations 

· Drive process improvement for sales to increase efficiencies for selling, strong presentations, and meeting our client needs. 

· Provide feedback to Sales Operations & Enablement with suggestions on process and training improvements. 

· Stay current on all product features and deficiencies. 

· Utilize Salesforce to facilitate defined processes and documentation of client meetings. 

· Manage security assessments, attestations, and various other forms required by clients and prospects in the sales cycle. 

· Partner with our CARE team to understand our editorial processes, provide clinical insights to customers, and have the ability to deep dive into our different content sets. 

· Understand and stay current on all competitors while using our solution value statements to position ourselves against our competitors. 

· Ability to showcase our clinical content to various levels of clinical audience while showing value within the clinical workflow.

What We're Looking For:

· At least 5 years of experience providing clinical solution demonstrations, understanding clients' needs to match solutions to needs, leveraging technical expertise, and designing tailored solutions. 

· Extensive clinical experience in a health plan or TPA setting including Utilization Management, Case Management, or Disease Management (i.e. Health Plan or TPA), with a strong understanding of clinical workflows and challenges. 

· Strong understanding of software development, technical architectures, data analytics, and integrations. 

· Ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

· Demonstrated experience in building C-Suite relationships, presentations to C-Suites, and engaging executives in strategic discussions and planning activities. 

· Proven track record of successfully understanding client needs and matching those up with solutions that fit a technology platform. 

· Working knowledge of health plan operations. 

· Strong understanding of healthcare markets and terminology. 

· Strong understanding of MCG Payer solutions. 

· Strong presentation skills with peers, management, and clients. 

· Exceptional client-facing communication skills, including strong written and verbal abilities for interactions with internal and external clients, whether in person, phone, or written communication. 

· Travel required - Up to 50% to Client sites and MCG-sponsored events.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

· At least 5 years’ experience with MCG products and services preferred. 

· Active, current, and unrestricted RN or LPN license in a state or territory of the United States required. 

· Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines despite multiple and conflicting priorities and to constructively adapt to change. 

· Self-starter, capable of and motivated to independently perform tasks without continuous supervision. 

· Evidence of a professional approach to assignments: responsible, effective, efficient, ethical. 

· Goal-oriented, action-focused, pragmatic, and self-disciplined. 

Pay Range: $134,200– $187,900 annually
