Associate Vice President, Corporate Development
We are looking for an Associate Vice President, Corporate Development to lead MCG’s platform growth strategy and drive adoption of our GenAI-powered Synapse platform across the healthcare ecosystem. This role plays a critical part in positioning MCG’s technology at the core of clinical decision-making by establishing scalable integrations and strategic partnerships with health tech platforms, payers, and providers.
In this role, you will accelerate MCG’s shift from traditional rules-based decision support to a modern, data-driven platform built on artificial intelligence and machine learning. This includes expanding platform reach through embedded distribution, ensuring our AI capabilities are seamlessly integrated into key workflows, and developing business models that drive both partner value and sustainable revenue growth. The ideal candidate brings a mix of business development expertise, product sensibility, and technical depth, and is energized by the opportunity to build the next generation of healthcare platform strategy.
You will:
Drive the “MCG Everywhere” Strategy
- Define and execute a long-term platform distribution roadmap to embed MCG intelligence into payer, provider, and third-party digital health systems.
Accelerate Synapse Adoption
- Lead go-to-market efforts and ecosystem enablement for MCG’s GenAI-powered Synapse platform, shaping how it integrates with external partner workflows.
Develop and Run Strategic Partnerships
- Identify, structure, and manage partnerships with EHR vendors, payers, providers, AI platforms, and other health tech stakeholders to expand reach and co-develop innovation.
Design Future-Ready Business Models
- Lead the evolution of MCG’s commercial model in the GenAI era including usage-based pricing, embedded monetization strategies, and platform-tiered access.
Align Cross-Functional Execution
- Lead in the collaboration of the product, engineering, clinical, legal, and commercial teams to deliver scalable integrations and support successful partner deployments.
What We’re Looking For:
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare technology, platform strategy, or enterprise partnerships
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, machine learning, and their applications in healthcare
- Demonstrated success in building and commercializing B2B SaaS or platform businesses
- Deep familiarity with digital health workflows, interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7), and partner ecosystems
- Financial fluency, including forecasting, ROI modeling, and licensing structures
- Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Health IT, or a related field; MBA or Master’s preferred
Preferred
- Experience with embedded platform models, API monetization, and usage-based pricing strategies
- Background in scaling 0→1 initiatives within complex, regulated industries
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment in ambiguous, high-growth environments
- Familiarity with clinical decision support tools, or AI-native infrastructure
Pay Range: National $204,100 – $285,760 | Seattle $216,300 – $300,900
Other compensation: Bonus Eligible
This is a remote position and requires travel approximately 30% of the time. Travel may include conferences, client meetings, or internal team events. All travel expenses are covered in accordance with company policy.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable balancing the independence of remote work with the collaborative opportunities offered by periodic in-person engagements.
