Opportunity! 

We are looking for a Licensing Lead to drive and evolve our Atlassian licensing strategy, driving proactive renewals, expansion, and services alignment across our customer base. You will play a key role in building a more predictable and strategic licensing motion, partnering closely with Partnerships, Sales, Delivery, and Finance teams to ensure customers are set up for long-term success. This role sits at the center of the customer lifecycle, helping to improve renewal outcomes, uncover growth opportunities, and strengthen how we deliver value across the organization.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS renewals, licensing, revenue operations, or a related field, with a track record of driving predictable renewal outcomes and customer expansion
  • Drive expansion opportunities in partnership with Sales, owning the identification of expansion opportunities and influencing deal strategy to accelerate growth.
  • Strong understanding of subscription-based business models, including renewals, co-terming, and expansion strategies
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Delivery, Partnerships and Delivery teams. 
  • Demonstrated ability to build and optimize processes across CRM pipeline and lifecycle management, including renewal forecasting, tracking, and automation, with a data-driven approach to defining and measuring key metrics such as renewal timing, on-time performance, expansion influence, and services attach rate.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both internal teams and customer decision-makers
  • Experience within the Atlassian partner ecosystem and familiarity with complex licensing environments (e.g., enterprise structures, co-terming, multi-product alignment)

Bonus points:

  • Experience with GitHub and/or AWS environments.
  • Proven ability to influence expansion and services revenue without direct quota ownership
  • Familiarity with complex licensing environments (e.g., enterprise structures, co-terming, multi-product alignment)
  • Background in Customer Success Management (CSM) or Account Management, with experience managing customer relationships, renewals, or expansion conversations in a SaaS environment
