Executive Vice President (EVP), Client Partner

Location: Cupertino, CA (On-site client engagement; ~4 domestic and international trips per year)

Role Type: Executive Leadership (Full-Time)

P&L Ownership: $50M+

Role Summary

We are seeking an accomplished, growth-oriented EVP, Client Partner to own and scale a flagship technology account headquartered in Cupertino. In this high-visibility role, you will serve as the executive relationship owner and organic business development lead, holding full P&L accountability for strategy, revenue expansion, margin performance, and overall client satisfaction.

This role requires a seasoned executive with exceptional consultative selling capabilities, deep technology-sector fluency (including Cloud, AI/ML, and Martech Solutions), and a proven track record of driving large-scale digital transformation programs for industry-leading global enterprises.

Key Responsibilities

Account Leadership & Strategy

  • Executive Advisory: Act as the primary senior executive and trusted advisor to C-suite and VP-level leaders across the client organization.
  • Strategic Growth Roadmap: Formulate and execute a multi-year account plan aligned with the client’s technology vision, product roadmap, and business objectives.
  • P&L Management: Own full account P&L, driving revenue growth, margin expansion, accurate forecasting, and rigorous financial/budget management.

Growth & Business Development

  • Opportunity Generation: Identify, shape, and close transformative opportunities spanning consulting, digital engineering, AI/ML, cloud platforms, Marcom, and managed services.
  • Global Deal Execution: Lead complex, multi-million-dollar deal negotiations, commercial structuring, and global pursuit teams to maximize long-term account profitability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal sales, delivery, marketing, and practice leads to deliver bespoke account campaigns, solution architectures, and executive thought leadership.

Delivery Excellence & Risk Management

  • Program Oversight: Maintain executive oversight for multi-tower technology engagements, ensuring high-quality, on-time, and on-budget execution.
  • Performance Governance: Collaborate with global delivery leaders to meet or exceed SLA, CSAT, and NPS targets.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and manage strategic, operational, compliance, and delivery risks across all account engagements.

Executive Stakeholder Management

  • Strategic Influence: Cultivate and nurture deep relationships across executive decision-makers to influence strategic initiatives and secure long-term partnerships.
  • Governance & Alignment: Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs), executive steering committees, and joint strategic planning sessions.

Leadership & Global Operations

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and elevate a high-performing global account team consisting of on-site, nearshore, and offshore resources.
  • Culture & Innovation: Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and a culture of continuous innovation and high accountability.
  • Global Flexibility & Travel: Mobilize global teams across international time zones and travel approximately 4 times per year (across the US and internationally) as needed to drive executive engagement, align stakeholders, and close key commercial deals.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 15+ years of progressive client-facing leadership within technology services, digital transformation, or management consulting.
  • Proven P&L Success: Demonstrated track record of directly owning and growing a $50M+ annual account P&L with consistent, year-over-year double-digit growth.
  • Domain Expertise: Deep technical understanding of enterprise ecosystems, including cloud platforms, AI/ML, SaaS, product engineering, Martech, and platform services.
  • Executive Presence: Superior presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities at the C-suite and SVP levels.
  • Financial Acumen: Advanced understanding of commercial modeling, contract structures, risk management, and profit optimization.
  • Location & Travel Readiness: Ability to maintain a strong on-site presence in Cupertino, CA, manage operations across varied international time zones, and travel roughly 4 times per year domestically and internationally as the business requires.

  • Dual expertise spanning management consulting and large-scale, global delivery models.
  • Recognized track record of building decade-long client partnerships and leading multi-year enterprise transformation programs.

This role is subject to our Return to Office (RTO) policy. If you reside within a commutable distance of one of our office locations, you will be expected to work from the office a set number of days per week. The specific details, including the number of required office days, will be in accordance with the company’s then-current RTO policy, which is subject to change from time to time.

 

Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

 

 

Salary Range:

$250,000 - $350,000 USD
