Partner Sales Manager – Energy focused (UK-based)
The Partner Sales Manager is a key driver of regional enterprise sales focused on hybrid cloud storage solutions within the Energy sector. This role is tailored for an experienced deal hunter with deep expertise in enterprise and strategic sales in the oil & gas and broader energy industries across the EMEA region. The candidate will collaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) to penetrate and expand accounts in the energy market. This includes building and leveraging strong relationships with partners such as Value-Added Resellers (VARs), Cloud Hyperscalers, Systems Integrators (SIs), and energy consultants to amplify market presence and revenue growth.
The ideal candidate has a profound understanding of the energy sector’s unique needs for downstream, E&P, OSDU around digital transformation initiatives, cloud adoption strategies, and operational efficiency goals. They will use their knowledge to identify, qualify, and close opportunities while leveraging the partner ecosystem to accelerate deal cycles and scale business outcomes.
The Key Responsibilities of a Partner Sales Manager ….
Cultivate strategic alliances with key partners, including VARs specializing in the energy sector, cloud hyperscalers (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud), and SIs with a focus on energy infrastructure and digital transformation. Ensure alignment with energy consultants to further industry relevance.
Identify and develop sales opportunities by leveraging existing relationships, partner networks, and industry expertise. Drive incremental revenue by expanding into untapped energy accounts and broadening engagements within existing client bases.
Utilize partner insights and relationships to validate opportunities, influence key stakeholders in the energy sector, and fast-track the decision-making process. Ensure continuous pipeline development and achievement of sales quotas.
Attend client meetings, energy industry events, and on-site engagements to deepen relationships and stay abreast of sector trends. Frequent travel as required to maintain and grow partnerships and customer connections.
