HR Coordinator

We are looking for a fabulous HR Coordinator to join our dynamic People team on a permanent full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their HR career who is looking to develop their HR knowledge in a collaborative team environment that emphasises high performance. As part of a global team, this role can be based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne, working in a hybrid model.

The team:

The People Team at Nous brings together Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and People Experience. We are a team of 15, based across multiple offices in Australia and Canada, supporting consulting and corporate employees across a range of employment jurisdictions. Working closely with the business, we deliver practical, people-focused solutions that support high performance and growth.

The role:  

Primarily working within the People Experience team, this role provides exposure to several areas of the People Team. You will provide administrative, systems and processing support to the team and wider business to ensure employee data is managed appropriately and that people processes and practices are delivered efficiently and effectively.

You will:

  • Be the first point of contact for employee queries and HR requests.
  • Process employee movements (e.g. onboarding, relocations, extended leave, offboarding etc).
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity across our HRIS and other systems.
  • Prepare employee correspondence and internal communications.
  • Coordinate employee milestones including onboarding performance check ins.
  • Work collaboratively with relevant corporate functions (IT, Marketing, Finance and Office Coordinators) as required.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc reports using people data.
  • Focus on continuous improvement of processes and practices, driving AI adoption.

And the practical experience…

  • Degree qualified in a human resources or related discipline is desirable.
  • Experience in a similar HR/Recruitment/Administration position will be highly regarded.
  • Well-developed literacy skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
