Nox Group owns and operates Corbins, RMCI, Nox Innovations, and Construction Labels, and our teams set the standard as industry leaders. As we continue to expand our reach nationwide, we seek people who are passionate about personal growth and eager to make a positive impact throughout the industries and communities we serve. We prioritize our people, our partners, and our relationships. Start your journey today and join our skilled team.

The HR Specialist is a dual-function role that splits time between facilitating learning and development content, and supporting the People Experience team with various initiatives. This role delivers and coordinates training ranging from new hire orientation to ongoing leadership development courses, and supports HRBPs with tracking, documentation, and logistics. This is a strong developmental role for someone building toward a full HRBP career path.

This is a full-time on-site role that will require frequent early mornings. The selected candidate must be Spanish-speaking bilingual, and comfortable facilitating content in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Learning & Development Facilitation

  • Facilitate scheduled training sessions and workshops for Nox Group employees using existing, pre-built training content and materials.
  • Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling sessions, reserving space, confirming attendance, and managing sign-in sheets and rosters.
  • Track training completion and certification records; follow up with leadership on outstanding, overdue or nearing overdue requirements.
  • Support new hire orientation and leadership training, ensuring employees complete required modules within expected timelines.
  • Serve as the point of contact for training logistics questions, such as dates, locations, and materials access.
  • Collect participant feedback after sessions and route it to the team responsible for content development.
  • Maintain and update training rosters and tracking spreadsheets or LMS records.
  • Partner directly with Onboarding team on coordination of new hire questions, issues, concerns, and logistics.
  • Conduct new hire orientation drug screens.
  • Escalate potential new hire issues to the right teams, providing insight and judgement on potential risks.
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down training spaces and materials as needed.

HRBP Support

  • Support HRBPs by tracking performance evaluation completion rates and following up with field leadership on missing items.
  • Track and update employee drug screen submission records and route results to the designated HRBP or Safety contact.
  • Help coordinate onboarding logistics during an employee’s first 90 days.
  • Fully own the coordination and facilitation of our retention bonus program.
  • Maintain accurate HR data and HRIS records; generate basic status reports for HRBPs.
  • Answer common questions that come through the HR inbox.
  • Support People Experience initiatives — recognition, wellness, and engagement activities — with logistics and administrative coordination.
  • Help maintain HR knowledge base resources by flagging outdated content or gaps to the appropriate owner.
  • Escalate employee relations concerns, leave requests (FMLA, ADA, Fit for Duty), or other sensitive matters directly to the HRBP or HR leadership — this role does not manage these independently.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of HR, training/facilitation experience; construction or other field-based industry experience is a plus.
  • Ability to provide a consistently energized facilitation experience for all attendees.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple training schedules and administrative tasks at once.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish/English required.
  • Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Comfortable working in the field and traveling to job sites for training delivery.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred but not required.
