Nuro has raised over $2B in capital from Uber, NVIDIA, Google, Softbank, Fidelity, T. Rowe Price, and other leading investors.

About the Role

The Senior Program Manager, Compliance Reporting will be part of the Commercialization & Evaluation team within Software Operations. In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of regulatory reporting programs that support the company’s legal, compliance, and operational obligations.

You will work cross-functionally with Public Trust, Data Platform, Safety, and Software Operations teams to translate complex requirements into clear plans, reliable reporting processes, and actionable operational practices. You will also implement and continuously improve operational and review processes as needed to ensure reporting deliverables are accurate, complete, timely, and supported by thorough documentation.

This role requires strong program management, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. About the Work

  • Own end-to-end program management for regulatory reporting deliverables, from requirements gathering through submission and follow-up.
  • Manage tight, often externally imposed timelines across multiple regulatory reporting work streams simultaneously.
  • Partner closely with Public Trust and Legal teams to ensure reporting accurately reflects current legal and compliance obligations.
  • Collaborate with Software Operations teams to gather data, verify accuracy, and ensure operational readiness for reporting requirements.
  • Design, implement, and improve operational, documentation, and review processes that support consistent and high-quality reporting.
  • Review and interpret legal and regulatory documents, translating obligations into clear, actionable program plans.
  • Establish appropriate review mechanisms, approval workflows, and quality controls for reporting materials.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread reporting materials and internal communications with a high degree of accuracy and clarity.
  • Identify risks to reporting timelines or quality early and independently drive mitigation.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and audit trails to support regulatory inquiries, audits, or reviews.
  • Communicate program status, risks, decisions, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders across technical, legal, and executive audiences.

About You

  • 5+ years of program management experience, ideally in a regulated, compliance-heavy, or public-sector-adjacent environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, precise, and error-free materials under deadline pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with legal, regulatory, or compliance documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and tight timelines independently.
  • Experience working with or alongside Public Trust, regulatory, legal, or compliance teams.
  • Comfort working closely with software operations teams and translating technical processes into reporting requirements.
  • High degree of self-direction; able to operate effectively with minimal oversight.

Bonus Points

  • Prior experience working directly with regulators or with legal documents, regulatory filings, or contract language.
  • Experience in the autonomous vehicle industry or another highly regulated technology sector.
  • Familiarity with Public Trust or government relations processes.
  • Experience supporting audits, regulatory reviews, or formal compliance inquiries.
