Customer Acceleration Product Manager

Bellevue, Washington; Chicago, Illinois

Secure Every Identity, from AI to Human

Identity is the key to unlocking the potential of AI. Okta secures AI by building the trusted, neutral infrastructure that enables organizations to safely embrace this new era. This work requires a relentless drive to solve complex challenges with real-world stakes. We are looking for builders and owners who operate with speed and urgency and execute with excellence.

This is an opportunity to do career-defining work. We're all in on this mission. If you are too, let's talk.

As a Customer Acceleration Product Adoption Manager, you will serve as the product owner for Okta’s suite of customer education offerings, while contributing to the broader Customer Acceleration post-sales portfolio, including success packages and related offerings. You will bring product thinking and customer centricity to how we design, improve, and grow our education products, working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Customer Content, Field Sales, and Customer First to ensure our offerings meet customer needs and drive long-term adoption, retention, and growth.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own the education subscription product roadmap: Serve as the product owner for Okta's education subscription, managing the backlog, defining requirements, and prioritizing improvements based on customer needs, business goals, and data insights. Develop a working knowledge of the public learning catalog and how it intersects with the subscription experience to inform roadmap decisions and ensure a seamless customer journey.
  • Translate product and GTM strategy into education action: Partner with Product and PMM to distill roadmaps and GTM strategies into clear requirements and priorities, equipping the Customer Content team, who own content creation and delivery, with insights needed to ensure that training, knowledge, badges, certifications, and online/community experiences are ready ahead of every release.
  • Execute adoption programs: Design and execute targeted programs that increase awareness, engagement, and adoption, in partnership with the Digital Growth, Marketing and Customer First teams.
  • Define and measure impact: Establish success metrics for the education subscription and public catalog. Build and maintain reporting that connects learner engagement and skill building to customer health metrics (e.g. product adoption, retention, and expansion) to continuously inform roadmap prioritization and demonstrate business value.
  • Optimize the journey to expertise: Partner with the Platforms and Customer Content teams to identify friction points in the customer learning journey and advocate for improvements that make it easier for customers to find, access, and benefit from education resources at the right moment.
  • Connect education to the broader success journey: Partner with Customer Acceleration and Customer First leadership teams to contribute to the ongoing evolution of how education, success packages, and related offerings work together to deliver a cohesive, high-value customer experience.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in product management or product ownership, including backlog management, writing requirements or user stories, and contributing to a product roadmap.
  • Proven ability to define success metrics and use data to measure product or program effectiveness, connecting user engagement to business outcomes and communicating results clearly to stakeholders.
  • Experience conducting customer or user research and applying insights, including personas and journey mapping, to inform product decisions and program design.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, value-based language for diverse audiences.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across product, marketing, and customer success teams to align on shared goals and drive execution.
  • Working knowledge of training, credentialing, certification, or enablement functions and how they intersect with customer success and GTM motions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with or alongside an LMS, community platform, or digital customer success program.
  • Experience using product analytics or BI tools to track user behavior, engagement, and business outcomes.
  • Experience in a post-sales, customer success, or customer education environment.
  • Experience with subscription-based products or services and familiarity with how they are packaged and delivered to B2B customers.
  • Familiarity with identity, security, or developer-focused products and the technical audiences that use them.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
