Demand Signals Specialist, GrowthX

Bellevue, Washington; Chicago, Illinois; Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Secure Every Identity, from AI to Human

Identity is the key to unlocking the potential of AI. Okta secures AI by building the trusted, neutral infrastructure that enables organizations to safely embrace this new era. This work requires a relentless drive to solve complex challenges with real-world stakes. We are looking for builders and owners who operate with speed and urgency and execute with excellence.

This is an opportunity to do career-defining work. We're all in on this mission. If you are too, let's talk.

The Opportunity

The Global Demand Center is building a signal-led demand engine — one that uses account, audience, behavioral, intent, and market signals to identify where we should focus and how we should activate. The GrowthX team, within the Global Demand Center, is taking the lead on this initiative and looking for a new Demand Signals Specialist.

The Demand Signals Specialist will help turn signal-led strategy into accurate, actionable audiences that can be used across campaigns, field marketing, journey architecture, marketing automation, and activation channels.

This role is focused on audience build, enrichment, segmentation, QA, and activation readiness. They will work across teams to understand unique intent and fit signals to create impactful audiences for GrowthX programs. The ideal candidate is early in their career but technically curious, detail-oriented, comfortable working across modern GTM platforms, and excited to help build the audience foundation for a more dynamic demand model.

What You’ll Do

Build account and contact audiences

Build account, contact, and buying-group audiences based on direction from GrowthX strategy leads, campaign teams, field marketing, and journey teams.

Use tools such as Clay and Common Room to support audience creation, enrichment, segmentation, contact discovery, buying-group identification, and account research.

Apply required filters, exclusions, segmentation logic, region/segment views, product focus, persona criteria, suppression rules, and activation requirements.

Support both planned campaign audiences and signal-triggered growth motions.

Prepare audiences for activation

Package audience outputs for use by campaign managers, field marketing, journey architecture, marketing automation, digital activation, and xDR teams.

Communicate audience size, coverage, regional breakdowns, segment views, exclusions, data gaps, intent, and activation readiness.

Help ensure audiences are structured in a way that can be used downstream in systems such as Salesforce, Marketo, 6sense, and other campaign or activation platforms.

Own audience QA and data quality checks

Review audience builds for accuracy, duplication, completeness, field quality, enrichment quality, persona/title fit, suppression logic, region/segment accuracy, and alignment to stated criteria.

Flag issues, gaps, or unexpected findings to GrowthX strategy leads and stakeholders.

Recommend adjustments when audience size, coverage, quality, or data availability may limit activation.

Document audience logic and QA findings so teams understand what was included, excluded, and why.

Partner cross-functionally

Work closely with GrowthX leaders, campaign managers, field marketing, journey architecture, marketing automation, and activation teams to support audience needs.

Clarify build requirements, timelines, audience logic, data sources, and handoff expectations.

Support a more consistent audience operating model across Okta or Auth0 platform priorities.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications

1–3+ years of experience in marketing operations, growth operations, campaign operations, audience operations, demand generation, sales operations, data operations, or a related field.

Strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured data, lists, filters, segmentation logic, and QA processes.

Experience or strong familiarity with B2B marketing and sales systems such as Salesforce, Marketo, 6sense, Clay, Common Room, or comparable GTM platforms.

Comfort working with account and contact data, including enrichment, deduplication, segmentation, exclusions, and audience handoffs.

Ability to communicate audience size, coverage, data gaps, and QA findings clearly to stakeholders.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple audience requests, timelines, and handoffs.

Curiosity about AI, signal-led demand generation, data enrichment, and modern GTM technology.

Ability to work cross-functionally with campaign, field, journey, marketing automation, and growth teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building or supporting B2B account/contact audiences.

Experience with Clay, Common Room, Salesforce, Marketo, 6sense, or similar platforms.

Basic understanding of B2B buyer personas, buying groups, account segmentation, lifecycle stages, and campaign activation needs.

Experience using formulas, logic, filters, or workflow tools to organize and manipulate data.

Experience in B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, identity, developer platforms, or enterprise technology.
