Inside Sales Representative

Germany

As OpenSpace’s Inside Sales Representative for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, you’ll build the pipeline that our DACH sales team runs on. You’ll find and engage the right people at target construction companies, qualify their interest, and book first meetings for our Account Executives. You’ll be part of an international sales team and report to the Director of International Sales.

What you will be doing

  • Prospecting into target accounts that haven’t engaged with OpenSpace yet, using cold calls, email and LinkedIn
  • Following up quickly on inbound leads and qualifying them against agreed criteria
  • Booking qualified first meetings for the AEs and handing them over with clear notes on each prospect’s needs
  • Researching target accounts and mapping the buying group, from site and project management to innovation and IT
  • Working with Marketing to follow up on campaigns, webinars and events
  • Keeping Salesforce accurate and current with all activities, contacts and lead status
  • Building your product and market knowledge, and sharing prospect feedback with the team

What we are looking for

  • 1–2 years in a target-driven, customer-facing role such as sales, business development or account management
  • Native German and business-fluent English, spoken and written
  • Clear, persuasive communication in writing and on the phone
  • Curiosity about the construction industry and how OpenSpace solves problems on site
  • Comfort working in a team that spans several countries
  • Experience with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or sales engagement tools is a plus
  • Completed secondary education
  • A bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required

How you like to work

  • Energized by outreach: You like calling people who don’t know OpenSpace yet. High call volume and objections don’t slow you down.
  • Disciplined: You plan your day, follow up without being reminded, and are driven to hit your targets.
  • Coachable: You take feedback well, adjust quickly and bounce back from a tough day.

If this role isn't what you're looking for, please consider other open positions.
