Solutions Consultant

Germany

As OpenSpace’s Solutions Consultant for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, you’ll be the technical and commercial partner to our Account Executives. You’ll win deals by proving the business value of OpenSpace, get new customers live quickly, and drive the adoption that turns first projects into long-term, growing accounts. You’ll work across the whole customer lifecycle, from first demo through renewal, with regular visits to customer offices and job sites across the region.

What you will be doing

  • Owning the technical win with the Account Executive, from discovery and tailored demos through to a signed contract
  • Scoping, running and closing out pilots and proofs of value, with clear success criteria agreed with the AE and the customer
  • Finding and qualifying expansion opportunities in existing accounts and building pipeline with the AE
  • Leading the value and ROI conversation at renewal and expansion, using usage data and customer outcomes to build business cases
  • Onboarding new customers: project setup, capture training for field teams and admin training for project managers
  • Driving adoption after go-live through usage reviews, project check-ins and value reviews with customer stakeholders
  • Answering technical, security and data privacy (GDPR) questions, supporting tenders and RFPs, and advising on integrations such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (Forma)
  • Bringing market feedback to the Product team and building German-language enablement material with Marketing

What we are looking for

  • A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years in a customer-facing role at a construction technology or AEC software company, or in project or site management at an owner or construction company
  • A proven track record in pre-sales, solutions consulting or customer success with shared revenue targets
  • Native German and business-fluent English, spoken and written
  • Ability to travel regularly to customer offices and job sites across DACH
  • A solid understanding of how construction projects run, from preconstruction to handover, including site documentation and progress tracking
  • Experience with complex B2B sales cycles, value selling and qualification methods such as MEDDPICC
  • Familiarity with construction software such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (Forma) and BIM tools
  • Reality capture or 360° imaging experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of the DACH construction market and its main contractors is a plus

How you like to work

  • Commercially minded: You spot expansion opportunities, build the ROI case and help the AE move deals forward. You can turn usage data into a clear story about customer value.
  • A clear communicator: You adapt your message to site managers, project managers and executives, and you explain technical concepts in plain language.
  • Organized and independent: You can run several onboardings and pilots at once, and you’re comfortable in a small regional team that works closely with colleagues in other countries and time zones.

If this role isn't what you're looking for, please consider other open positions.
