Senior Product Designer

U.S.

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll own a key product area at the core of our business and help shape the systems and processes the design team relies on. You’ll partner closely with PMs on the roadmap, engineers on the execution, and sometimes lead projects where design is the right owner. The work ranges from mobile tools used in the field to AI-powered experiences, 3D navigation, and data visualization, and we expect a strong designer to move across them.

AI is now central to how we build and design. We think about it like a barbell. At one end, you zoom way out and do the hard thinking yourself: the system, the story, the big idea. At the other, you zoom way in and obsess over the details where designing by hand still matters most, like microinteractions, motion, copy, and visual polish. In the wide middle, you use AI tools to speed up your workflow with strong taste and healthy suspicion.

What you’ll do

  • Lead end-to-end design for a product area, from research and framing through shipped UI
  • Design mobile experiences for iOS and/or Android that work for people in hard hats on active jobsites
  • Design AI-native experiences: agent interactions, trust and verification patterns, and how AI outputs show up across the product
  • Run field research, site visits, usability studies, and customer 1:1s. You get to visit major construction projects.
  • Partner with PMs on requirements, scope, and roadmap, and with engineers from feasibility through implementation
  • Evolve our design system across Figma and code, including making it usable by AI tools
  • Mentor other designers and help raise the team’s AI fluency
  • Present and defend design decisions with leadership, product, engineering, and marketing
  • Ship things people in the real world actually use

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years designing digital products, with shipped mobile work you can walk us through end to end
  • A body of real AI-assisted work you can demo: prototypes, workflows, tools, or side projects. Show us how you work, not just what you made.
  • Working understanding of how LLM tools behave and the judgment to know when not to trust them
  • Experience designing for AI features, or a strong point of view on how users should interact with agents
  • Strong interaction and visual design, with expert Figma skills.
  • Research skills and genuine curiosity about how customers work
  • A track record of close collaboration with engineers, and understanding of how products are built to discuss feasibility and tradeoffs
  • Systems thinking that goes beyond the screen
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Comfort setting direction in ambiguity and scoping to ship on tight timelines
  • Nice to have: comfort working in code, construction industry experience
