Who We Are:

Ordergroove is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will be involved in building something of real value from the ground up. We're looking for bright, talented people who are excited about innovation, growth, and the exciting world of Relationship Commerce.  If you’re motivated by a desire to solve problems and deliver groundbreaking insights and solutions you’ll fit in perfectly!

About the Role:

We’re looking for a high-impact General Manager, Retail to drive strategic growth, revenue performance, and market expansion within the Retail vertical across North America. This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of a key sector, working closely with our Chief Revenue Officer and senior leadership to establish Ordergroove as a dominant force in retail subscriptions and recurring revenue models.

As General Manager, Retail, you will be an individual contributor responsible for executing a go-to-market strategy, securing high-value enterprise deals, and building deep relationships with C-level executives at major retailers. Your expertise in eCommerce, retail technology, and SaaS solutions will be critical in positioning Ordergroove as a strategic partner for leading retail brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute the go-to-market strategy for the Retail Vertical, driving new business, upsells, and renewals.
  • Directly engage with C-level executives, positioning Ordergroove as a strategic partner and driving high-value deals through consultative selling and ROI-driven proposals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, while effectively leveraging internal resources such as Solution Architects, Client Success, and Partnerships.
  • Develop strong relationships with eCommerce platforms, agencies, and technology partners to expand market reach and drive referral business.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management, using Salesforce and other sales tools.
  • Represent Ordergroove at industry events and conferences, strengthening brand awareness and thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize regional strategies, ensuring long-term success and market penetration.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of sales or business development experience, with a strong track record of exceeding revenue targets (including quotas up to $2M+).
  • Proven success as an individual contributor, closing high 6-figure to 7-figure enterprise SaaS deals.
  • Strong understanding of the retail, eCommerce and SaaS ecosystem, with experience selling into enterprise brands.
  • Expertise in value-based selling, complex deal negotiation, and C-suite engagement.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • BA or equivalent 4-year degree
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote-first, fast-paced environment.

 Bonus points for:

  • Experience working in a high-growth SaaS startup.
  • Familiarity with sales platforms like Salesforce, Salesloft, and Gong.
  • Previous experience building strategic partnerships within the eCommerce ecosystem.

This role is perfect for a strategic, self-motivated sales leader who thrives in an individual contributor capacity while driving market expansion and revenue growth. If you’re ready to take ownership of this exciting opportunity, we’d love to hear from you!

If you don’t meet 100% of the qualifications outlined above - that’s okay, nobody’s perfect! We encourage you to apply if you think this is a role that would make you excited to come into work every day.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
