About the Role

Particle Health is seeking a Director of Technical Presales & Solutions to build, scale, and lead our presales and post-sales engineering function during a pivotal growth phase. As a player-coach, you’ll lead a team of two while balancing strategic leadership with hands-on technical execution, ensuring Particle’s solutions drive measurable impact across our customer base.

You will be a key partner to sales, prospects, and customers, conducting deep technical discovery, designing compelling demonstrations, and developing scalable presales and post-sales processes to accelerate revenue growth, streamline onboarding, and drive adoption.

You’ll collaborate with digital health innovators, enterprise providers, and payers, helping them unlock the full potential of our insights platform to improve care delivery, enhance operational efficiencies, and meet evolving regulatory requirements. This is an opportunity to define and shape the future of technical presales and solutions at Particle Health while making a tangible impact on healthcare interoperability.

What You’ll Do

Presales Leadership

  • Lead technical discovery with prospects, diving deep into clinical, operational, and business challenges to align our solutions with their needs.
  • Deliver compelling demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, and presentations to both technical and executive stakeholders, showcasing the real-world impact of our solutions.
  • Anticipate and address technical objections to build confidence and trust throughout the sales cycle.
  • Leverage SQL scripting to analyze patient data, demonstrating how Particle’s platform enables AI-driven insights and real-time decision-making for healthcare customers.

Solutions Strategy

  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers who deliver exceptional results across the customer journey.
  • Define and execute a scalable systems, workflow, and process strategy that supports Particle’s growth and delivers high-impact outcomes for customers.
  • Act as a technical leader, guiding both internal teams and customers in solving complex challenges in healthcare data, analytics, AI models, and interoperability.

Customer Impact & Use Cases

  • Partner with sales to lead high-value consultative engagements with providers (VBC and Fee-for-Service), payers, and life sciences organizations.
  • Interpret AI model outputs and healthcare data trends, helping customers apply these insights to improve risk stratification, care coordination, and reimbursement strategies.
  • Query and analyze patient data using SQL, extract insights, and translate those findings into compelling use cases for payers, providers, and digital health customers.
  • Leverage a deep understanding of customer workflows and challenges to align Particle’s platform with their specific use cases, driving adoption and long-term success.

Post-Sales Leadership

  • Oversee seamless customer onboarding, integration strategies, and solution delivery, ensuring rapid time-to-value for customers.
  • Partner with Customer Success to track and optimize customer usage, satisfaction, and business outcomes.
  • Lead troubleshooting and escalation efforts, ensuring swift resolution of technical challenges while continuously improving internal processes.

Product and Process Collaboration

  • Serve as the voice of the customer, providing actionable insights to Product and Engineering teams to influence the product roadmap and enhance solutions.
  • Develop internal enablement resources—such as playbooks, knowledge bases, and training materials—to empower internal teams and customers.

What We Seek

  • 8+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions engineering, or implementation engineering, with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Expertise in healthcare data (medical records, claims), regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, CMS interoperability rules), and customer workflows in healthcare.
  • Strong SQL scripting skills, with the ability to query, analyze, and interpret healthcare data for customer use cases.
  • Experience working with AI models and machine learning outputs, with the ability to translate insights into real-world applications for payers and providers.
  • Skilled in consultative selling, with a strong ability to translate technical complexity into impactful solutions for customers.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling technical teams that deliver measurable business impact.
  • Experience fostering high-performing, collaborative, and inclusive team cultures.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare customer types (payers, providers, digital health innovators, life sciences) and their unique challenges and success metrics.
  • Expertise in designing scalable workflows, integration strategies, and system architecture to meet diverse customer needs.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence both technical and executive audiences.
  • Strong collaborator who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and can align technical initiatives with strategic business goals.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
