Position Summary: The Director of People Systems and Data Insights is responsible for leading all HRIS-related matters, including overseeing the administration of Workday, Greenhouse, Docebo, and various other systems. This role will focus on developing and fine-tuning our People Tech framework, tools, and processes, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with global data security and privacy requirements. The Director will also leverage AI to enhance data insights and drive better business decisions. This role will embody Pax8 values and behaviors.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead a successful team of analysts and specialists through coaching, developing, and guiding the team using ongoing two-way communication; provide vision and focus on both individual and team success.
  • Develop and implement a global People Technology and Systems strategy to meet business needs for today and the next three years, ensuring integration and alignment with the wider Pax8 technology strategy and stack with a focus on ensuring Workday becomes the digital front door for People Operations.
  • Oversee all current and future system functionality, upgrades, and system integrations in partnership with Tech Services and other Business Partners as needed, inclusive of the change management required around any changes.
  • Ensure documentation is created and maintained for system processes and procedures for both internal use on the team and external use within Pax8.
  • Drive effective project management efforts in support of People Operations and Pax8 initiatives.
  • Provide support for the development of training to system users.
  • Ensure system compliance with global data security and privacy requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in data management and security, HR technology, AI, and HRIS applications.
  • Leverage AI to maximize the potential of data, information, and analytics, improving the user experience through self-service capability.
  • Leverage AI to provide value through the execution of transactional, high-volume repeatable processes and queries.

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least seven (7) years of experience working in people systems with at least three (3) years supporting Workday.
  • At least three (3) years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven problem-solving capability while taking a collaborative and proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement and refining processes for optimal accuracy and efficiency.
  • Experience aligning solutions with HR policies and procedures to ensure the People Tech stack meets organizational needs and goals.
  • Proven success managing multiple initiatives at the same time while collaborating with various stakeholders (both internal and external).
  • Strong team player with a high level of organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and enthusiasm to learn and become proficient in new technologies and integrations.
  • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships across global regions, manage remotely, and work with remote team members effectively.
  • Demonstrated record of handling sensitive data and exercising proven discretion in addition to maintaining data security.
  • Experience analyzing large data sets to distill insights from data and connecting disparate ideas into cohesive, well-grounded insights using reporting tools.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while being self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Knowledge in generating dashboards that provide insights using visualization tools.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with a wide variety of stakeholder interests.
  • Ability to apply knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals.
  • Ability to consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances.
  • Ability to gain the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.

Required Education & Certifications:

  • B.A./B.S. in Business, Human Resources, or related field or equivalent work experience.

 

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of $145,000/yr to $180,000/yr or more depending on experience.
