JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Role:

This role is all about community! You'll be primarily engaging with IPSY's online community and managing social media interactions across multiple platforms, including our Instagram Broadcast channels, Facebook group, and commenting on outside accounts for positive engagement. You will identify and escalate issues, trends, and feedback from the community to the Social and Creator teams as needed, and assist with administrative content calendar/posting support for the Social and Creator teams.

This position reports to the Manager of Social and Creator Insights and is a hybrid role based in Santa Monica, CA.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Community Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for IPSY's online communities and creator communities, fostering proactive and positive engagement and brand loyalty across our social channels and private groups.
  • Ideate and research effective strategies to increase audience engagement and community growth.
  • Assist the Creator Partnerships team to ensure timing of creator posts, collabs, and happenings with current partners across social.
  • Track and analyze engagement and sentiment metrics to optimize content strategy.

Administrative & Marketing Support:

  • Coordinate with internal teams to align social media activities with broader marketing initiatives, including collaborating with the Care team on any flags coming from our members, community, and any necessary internal communications.
  • Assist in reporting on community engagement, sentiment analysis, and social media performance as it relates to the team's business impact.
  • Support the Marketing team with administrative tasks as needed.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in a marketing-related role, with a focus on community management and social media.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads, Snapchat, and emerging channels.
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Dash Hudson, QUID, Google Suite) and analytics platforms (Tableau).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple social accounts efficiently.
  • A proactive and creative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

Bonus if You Have:

  •  Familiarity with influencer and brand ambassador programs.

Pay is based on several non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, skills, and location. IPSY offers a bonus, equity grants, and competitive benefits. Final compensation is determined by experience and skills.

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $73,000 USD
