About the Opportunity
The Facilities and Maintenance Team Leader oversees all daily operations and personnel related to the maintenance, repair and installation of Company machinery and the upkeep of the Company’s property and facilities. The role works collaboratively with multiple parties to ensure that the Company’s objectives are being met.
What You'll Do:
- Responsible for overseeing the daily operations related to maintenance, facilities, and security;
- Leads maintenance department, which includes recruiting, training and development of employees; create work schedules, organize work processes and workflows, provide necessary reports related to the team function and the employees, monitor and evaluate employee performance, and ensure goals of the team are met.
- Complete maintenance work orders in accordance with the highest standards of efficiency.
- Diagnose and repair problems in such areas as electrical, plumbing, and major shop equipment.
- Lead/Assist in the setup and installation of new machinery and equipment
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues and initiate repairs.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks and repairs.
- Manages and updates preventative maintenance program (PMXPERT)
- Responsible for security alarm system and responses to alarms
- Participates in quality, safety and customer audits; implements necessary action items in response to audit findings
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 4 years of maintenance experience in a PCB manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of preventative maintenance software
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Superior attention to detail and accuracy; high level of organization
- Must be able to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
- High level of flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements and priorities
- Proficiency with manufacturing tools, parts, equipment and materials
- Proficiency with technology (e.g., Office 365, ERP systems, etc.)
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Minimum 3-year experience with one or more technical experiences: electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer-controlled equipment, PLC
- Minimum 3-year experience with a variety of equipment including lubricating, cleaning, material handling, motor control, relay control, process control, conveyorized systems.
- Working knowledge of post-etch equipment and ProCIM
Please note that in addition to frequent standing and walking, the work environment requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds; as well as, twisting/turning, reaching over shoulder/head, reaching outward.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends and Holidays as needed
California Pay Range
$70,000 - $80,000 USD
The actual compensation offered is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
