About the Opportunity
The Production Control Expeditor monitors and expedites the flow of job orders within or between departments to ensure prompt progress of goods to conform with production schedules and on time delivery to customers.
What You'll Do:
- Follows the flow of orders and ensures that each department’s workflow is consistent with the production schedule
- Identifies and works on critical ship jobs to ensure they are in position to ship on time
- Prepares, maintains and submits periodic reports concerning the status of jobs, shortages and behind-schedule conditions
- Serves as a key liaison among Quality, Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing personnel to ensure timely completion of jobs
- Collaborates with Company personnel to improve on-time delivery
- Prepares daily documentation and reports on progress of work and production issues
What You'll Bring:
- Working knowledge of manufacturing and PCB processes
- Excellent organizational and decision-making skills, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Basic knowledge of reading blueprints (Preferred)
- Experience with ProCim (Preferred)
Education and Experience:
- Associate’s degree or higher in related field or comparable industry experience (Required)
- 3 years of experience in the PCB industry in a similar role (Required)
Please note that job responsibilities require frequent standing and walking. In addition, the work environment requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
Potential Shifts Available:
1st shift, Monday- Friday, 7:30 am- 4:00 pm
Job Type: Full-time
California Pay Range
$17.85 - $22 USD
The actual compensation offered is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
