Playfly Sports is looking for a Manager of Content, Playfly Max to join our team in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Playfly is adding a new on-campus social and digital media leader at Nebraska, and we’re looking for a highly skilled, creative, and collaborative Manager of Content to help bring brand and athlete partnerships to life in the digital world. This role is pivotal to the success of Huskers Athletic Partners, Huskers Radio Network, and Student-Athlete social media content and will have a strong presence in Name-Image-Likeness operations. This role will serve as the leader behind sponsored content on Nebraska Athletics channels, production and editing of Huskers Radio Network podcasts, and custom content for student-athlete and brand collaborations.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
· Own the end-to-end creation process for social media campaigns involving University of Nebraska student-athletes and partner brands including content capture, editing, and finalization.
· Lead the creation of custom video and social media content with corporate partners to gain impressions, build a following, and grow revenue.
· Track and report campaign metrics on-behalf of local Playfly staff and brand partners.
· Lead ideation of new sponsorship and name-image-likeness content to be introduced to brand partners.
· Support the Huskers Radio Network staff by producing, editing, and posting podcasts.
· Participate in live-action shoots both scripted and at University sporting events.
· Contribute across multimedia platforms such as graphics, video, audio, etc.
· Maintain strong communication with key stakeholders in the social media ecosystem at the University of Nebraska, including athletics staff, student-athletes, brand reps, and campus partners.
· Serve as the liaison between Nebraska Athletics and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of all digital deliverables.
· Support content planning, scheduling, and distribution tied to brand collaborations.
· Other job-related duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
· Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, sports management, communications, or related field.
· Minimum 1 year of experience in a creative production environment.
· Significant knowledge of graphic design, motion design, photography, and video editing and production.
· Proven ability to drive and report measurable results through creative content.
· Creative mindset with the desire to generate new initiatives and ideas.
· Outstanding project management and communication skills.
· Highly organized with a proactive mindset and strong attention to detail.
· Comfortable navigating working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
· Strong understanding of social media trends and podcasts.
· Familiarity with NIL and college athletics is a strong plus.
TRAVEL, LIFTING, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Ability to sit, stand, and walk-up stairs.
· Ability and willingness to travel to events and competitions as needed.
· Must be able to work occasional nights and weekends around sporting events.
