THE RUNDOWN

Playfly Sports is looking for a Content Producer, ESPN to join our team in Chicago, IL.

 

Responsible for filming, editing, and creating content for Paragon’s ESPN account team and @SportsCenterNext social media platforms that support Paragon’s ESPN events and other youth sports events.

 

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

· Film, produce, edit, and publish compelling content on-site such as video highlights, interviews, pictures, and behind-the-scenes footage from games Paragon televises on ESPN, as well as at key high school, club, and youth events across the country

· Keep a finger on the pulse on trending players, teams, and storylines in high school and youth sports to effectively oversee content strategy for @SportsCenterNext social media platforms

· Compile and analyze statistical data, develop reports, and make recommendations regarding sales and strategy to monetize and promote @SportsCenterNext social media platforms

· Archive and edit highlight clips from previous ESPN games, connecting audiences to players and games from past events

· Maintain and nurture positive relations with all sponsors and event properties

· Contribute to team spirit on the account team, including contact with client

· Support Paragon’s and clients’ goals, objectives, and procedures

· Take an active role in protecting and maintaining a healthy culture at Paragon

· Provide ongoing feedback to direct reports and participate in evaluating account team members

· Perform other duties as assigned by Paragon Management

· Other job-related duties as assigned

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

· Bachelor’s degree

· 1-2 years of experience in production or journalism industries with social media experience required

· Proficient with videography and sound

· Possess strong social media acumen across all major platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat

· Able to multi-task and post content quickly in real time

· Able to communicate clearly and concisely, including in oral, written, and audio/visual presentations and writing in short form befitting social media

· Proficient with editing programs such as Adobe Premier and Final Cut Pro

· Display creativity and attention to detail

· Able to interact, communicate, present ideas, and respond productively to constructive feedback

· Display professionalism regarding time, costs, and deadlines

· Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple projects

· Possess strong people skills

· Follow directions and meet deadlines

· Responsive to new opportunities and adapt quickly to shifting conditions

TRAVEL, LIFTING, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Standing and sitting for prolonged periods of time; occasional lifting of light to moderate weight objects

· Local and domestic travel, including nights and weekends, as well as some holidays

 

COMPENSATION

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. 

The base pay range for this role is:

$62,000 - $67,000 USD
