Playfly Sports is looking for a Senior Manager, Marketing to lead the strategy, storytelling, creative direction, and execution of campaigns that showcase the power of Playfly and its business units. This role blends marketing strategy, design, and innovation - transforming Playfly’s successes, as well as our insights, data and thought leadership, into compelling marketing narratives that drive awareness, engagement, and reignition of Playfly and its partners.
The ideal candidate will bring Playfly’s story to life across its channels - social media posts, email advertisements, corporate website, and thought leadership assets - highlighting our impact, results, innovation, and expertise in college athletics and the sports industry at large. With an eye for design and a mind for strategy, this role will shape multimedia marketing assets for Playfly that turn our business goals into meaningful partner connections through expert design and animation.
An enterprising attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to collaborate with multiple teams, including Playfly’s partners, is essential to success. Candidates should be excited about playing a pivotal role in creating marketing campaigns for Playfly to exhibit its successes, thought leadership and expertise in the sports industry.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

Create & Lead Campaigns: Concept, design, and execute high-impact multimedia campaigns — including animations, static design, email, and social media content — to promote Playfly and help it achieve its business objectives.
· Own the Marketing Calendar: Build and manage a year-round content roadmap featuring thought leadership, social campaigns, email advertisements, and other brand initiatives.
· Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Playfly’s business units, insights, and creative teams - and with external partners - to translate strategy into powerful, tangible creative.
· Find & Tell the Story: Use Playfly’s data and industry insights to identify trends, stats, and narratives that will resonate with collegiate athletics partners, professional sports partners, sports organizations, and brands.
· Champion Creative Excellence: Elevate creative standards, ensuring every asset aligns with brand guidelines and visual storytelling best practices.
· Drive Consistency: Ensure visual and narrative consistency across all Playfly communications and platforms.
· Stay Ahead: Keep your finger on the pulse of sports (especially college athletics), sports tech, culture, and emerging creative technologies to keep Playfly’s marketing fresh and forward-thinking.
· Support Collaboration: Act as a creative partner across internal and external stakeholders to deliver top-quality, on-brand campaigns from concept to completion.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Design, Animation, Applied Media, or related field.
- 4–5+ years in creative development within a media company, integrated marketing team, or agency.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere) and PowerPoint; strong foundation in typography, layout, and motion design.
- Proven ability to concept, design, produce, and edit across print, digital, video, and animation.
- Ability to turn insights and strategy into compelling creative ideas and campaigns.
- Deep understanding of visual trends, animation, and design innovations — especially in sports and entertainment.
- Strong communicator and team player who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Portfolio Required: Applicants must include a portfolio showcasing creative work across animation, motion design, and layout composition. Portfolio must showcase examples of various creative animations built in After Effects or other relevant applications. Including samples also illustrating mastery in composition is encouraged.

Office based position; minimal travel required.
