About the Role
You are a technical leader for a program at TTB. That means you're a technical product manager and engineering leader. Your job will be less coding and more technical architecture, system design, and leadership. Here are more details:
  • Understand how product thinking and human-centered design complement technical efforts
  • Provide strategic technology advice to clients by deeply understanding mission objectives
  • Design and guide implementation of end-to-end solutions ensuring all components integrate
  • Work with technologies such as React, Java Spring Boot, Python, and other web app and data analytics components
  • Guide cloud-native architectures using Kubernetes, EKS, Aurora, and other AWS/cloud services
  • Provide technical leadership to senior client technical and business stakeholders, ensuring compliance and alignment to architectural standards and best practices
  • Drive innovation in client processes, service delivery to the public, and technical solutions
  • Identify key risks and assumptions and guide research and proof-of-concept experimentation
  • Guide modern delivery practices among development teams and support team members’ professional growth
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering (or related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10+ years of technical leadership and/or solution architect experience on large, multi-team products
  • Experience with forward-leaning technical solutions including:
    • Cloud-native architectures
    • Serverless event-based systems
    • Open-source tech stacks
    • Containers
    • Pipeline automation
  • Deep understanding of Agile and DevSecOps principles and practices
  • Familiarity with programming and design approaches including:
    • Object-oriented design
    • Functional programming
    • Design patterns
    • Modern API design
    • SQL and NoSQL database design
  • Experience defining and enforcing application and cloud data security across the lifecycle
  • Experience researching emerging technologies, processes, and best practices
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with human-centered design and product management methods
  • Experience fostering an inclusive environment and managing diverse teams
  • Experience managing fully remote and distributed teams
  • Business development experience
  • Familiarity with the Digital Services Playbook (playbook.cio.gov)
  • Relevant management certifications

Compensation and Benefits

Pluribus Digital offers a competitive salary that is determined at the time of offer. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications, with salary ranges aligned accordingly. If a candidate is a strong fit at a more junior or senior level to what is outlined here, we will assess them accordingly and apply the appropriate salary range during the hiring process.

The range for this specific role is from $180,000 - $190,000 depending on experience. Salary is augmented with opportunity to earn annual bonus and medical/dental/vision benefits, PTO, company paid life insurance and a generous 401k match program.
