Overview of the Role: Precisely is looking for a Web Content Manager to lead the strategy and execution behind our organic visibility and web content performance. This is a high-ownership role for someone who brings strong SEO, AEO, and content expertise and is ready to own outcomes across search, AI answer surfaces, and the web content experience. You will be responsible for how Precisely.com shows up in search, how content is structured to serve buyer intent at every funnel stage, and how we measure and improve performance over time. You’ll work cross-functionally with product marketing, demand generation, web, and technical SEO collaborators. This is an individual contributor role.

 What you will do: 

  • Contribute to SEO and AEO content strategy across Precisely.com, aligned to keyword opportunity, buyer intent, and funnel stage
  • Execute keyword research, topic mapping, and content gap analysis across traditional search and AI-driven answer platforms
  • Apply established frameworks for content that surfaces in featured snippets, People Also Ask, AI-generated answers, etc.
  • Maintain and evolve a content calendar that balances new production, refresh cycles, and consolidation of website content
  • Own the content quality and performance of key pages across com, including product pages, solution pages, resource center content, and high-intent landing pages
  • Execute against editorial governance standards including metadata conventions, internal linking, and on-page optimization
  • Audit existing content regularly and make recommendations on updates, consolidations, and removals based on performance data
  • Work cross-functionally with product marketing, demand generation, web, and technical SEO to align content with business priorities and search performance goals
  • Track and report on content performance across organic traffic, rankings, engagement, AI search visibility and more; translating data into clear content recommendations

What we are looking for:

Required:

  • Years of experience: 4+ years
  • Years of experience needed with specific skills 4+ years of SEO and web content experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software  
  • Specific technical or software skills required WordPress; Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush, Ahrefs, Brightedge, or similar SEO platforms

  • Strong understanding of how LLMs and AI answer engines surface and cite content
  • Solid experience with organic keyword research, search intent mapping, and how AI/LLMs are reshaping search behavior
  • Familiarity with AI search visibility platforms such as Profound or Semrush’s AI Overviews tracker
  • Proficient with AI content generation tools, such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Co-Pilot
  • Ability to write, review, and edit AI generated content for brand accuracy and compliance; including providing structured inputs and prompts to optimize content for organic search performance
  • Experience connecting SEO and AEO content performance to pipeline metrics in a B2B context

Preferred Skills (a plus but not required):

  • Strong point of view on content quality with the ability to influence partners across product marketing, demand generation, and web
  • Comfortable pulling and interpreting data independently using reporting tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar
  • Experience managing large-scale content audits, consolidations, or site migrations with measurable outcomes
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously without losing focus on quality or outcomes
  • Familiarity with enterprise B2B buying cycles and the ability to map content to complex, multi-stakeholder journeys
  • Comfortable pulling and interpreting data independently using reporting tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar

We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this role is $71,250 – $104,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Please note: The top end is reserved for individuals who exceed all preferred qualifications and bring extensive, directly relevant experience. Final compensation will be determined based on: Relevant skills and experience, internal equity and budget considerations.
