Atlanta, Georgia, United States

At PrizePicks, we are the fastest-growing sports company in North America, as recognized by Inc. 5000. As the leading platform for Daily Fantasy Sports, we cover a diverse range of sports leagues, including the NFL, NBA, and Esports titles like League of Legends and Counter-Strike. Our team of over 450 employees thrives in an inclusive culture that values individuals from diverse backgrounds, regardless of their level of sports fandom. Ready to reimagine the DFS industry together?

What you’ll do:

  • Own the Vision
    • Develop and evangelize a compelling long-term vision and strategy for the PrizePicks Data Platform, aligning it with company objectives and the needs of our product, engineering, marketing, and analytics teams.
  • Drive the Roadmap
    • Translate the vision into a clear, prioritized roadmap. Meticulously manage the backlog, making calculated trade-offs between technical investment, new capabilities, and stakeholder needs.
  • Execute with Precision
    • Collaborate deeply with world-class engineering, data science, and analytics teams to turn ideas into reality. You will write clear, concise requirements and user stories for complex technical initiatives.
  • Be the Expert
    • Become the company's foremost expert on our data ecosystem. Understand the nuances of our data sources (user behavior, market data) and the needs of our data consumers (ML models, frontend applications, analytics dashboards).
  • Foster Collaboration, Not Chaos
    • Act as the key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders. You will navigate competing priorities and complex dependencies with a calm, steady hand, building consensus and fostering a culture of trust and shared success.
  • Measure What Matters
    • Define and analyze KPIs that measure the performance, reliability, and impact of the Data Platform. Use data to make informed decisions and communicate the value of your work to the entire company.

What you have:

  • Proven Experience
    • 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 2-3 years focused specifically on data platforms, data infrastructure, APIs, or machine learning products. You have a track record of shipping complex, technical products that deliver significant business impact.
  • Technical Depth
    • You don’t have to be an engineer, but you can hold your own in highly technical discussions. You have a strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, API design, data modeling, and the machine learning lifecycle. Competency with SQL is a must.
  • Autonomous Operator
    • You are a self-starter who doesn't need to be told what to do next. You excel at taking a high-level, ambiguous problem, structuring it, and driving it to completion with minimal oversight.
  • Calm Under Pressure
    • You have a level-headed and unflappable demeanor. In a high-growth environment, you are a source of stability and clarity, capable of making thoughtful decisions when faced with urgency or uncertainty.
  • A Master of Influence
    • You lead through influence, not authority. You are an exceptional communicator and an even better listener, capable of building strong relationships and aligning teams around a shared vision.
  • Passionate & Purpose-Driven
    • You are genuinely passionate about building foundational technology and understand the leverage it provides. A love for sports, gaming, or statistics is a significant plus and will help you connect deeply with our mission.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

A "recently separated veteran" means any veteran during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran's discharge or release from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service.

An "active duty wartime or campaign badge veteran" means a veteran who served on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service during a war, or in a campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge has been authorized under the laws administered by the Department of Defense.

An "Armed forces service medal veteran" means a veteran who, while serving on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service, participated in a United States military operation for which an Armed Forces service medal was awarded pursuant to Executive Order 12985.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
