About the Role

PubNub is looking for an experienced Corporate Counsel focused on technology transactions to partner with our legal team on a B2B contract basis, working remotely from Poland.

Working closely with the General Counsel, this engagement will primarily focus on commercial and technology-related contracts, while also contributing across a broad range of legal matters including licensing, privacy, compliance, data security, corporate matters, and international operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a business-oriented attorney who enjoys working independently, collaborating cross-functionally, and supporting a fast-growing global technology company.

What You’ll Do

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of technology and commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements, vendor agreements, reseller and partnership agreements, NDAs, and other commercial contracts
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders across Sales, Product, Compliance, IT, Finance, Marketing, and executive leadership
  • Support legal aspects of product and service evolution, launches, and go-to-market initiatives
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of legal processes, templates, and operational workflows
  • Assist with privacy and regulatory compliance matters, including GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and related frameworks
  • Support ongoing compliance initiatives related to ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certifications
  • Help identify legal and operational risks while providing practical, business-focused guidance
  • Stay informed on evolving legal developments impacting SaaS, technology, AI, privacy, and international business operations

What We’re Looking For

  • Law degree with strong academic credentials
  • Qualified lawyer and active membership in a recognized bar association
  • 8+ years of legal experience in the technology sector, either in-house or at a law firm
  • Strong experience handling technology transactions, SaaS agreements, licensing, and commercial contracts
  • Understanding of software products, cloud services, and technology business models
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating across distributed global teams
  • Technologically proficient and interested in leveraging AI-enabled legal and productivity tools responsibly and effectively
  • Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting international technology companies
  • Familiarity with security and privacy compliance frameworks
  • Experience supporting sales and procurement negotiations
  • Prior exposure to startup or high-growth environments
