Motion Graphics Specialist

Why We Have This Role

At Qualtrics, video and dynamic visual storytelling play a pivotal role in capturing attention and communicating our brand's mission. We are looking for a Motion Graphics Specialist to bring static designs to life and craft engaging animated experiences across digital, campaign, and event channels. Partnering closely with video editors, producers, and brand strategists, you will shape the visual rhythm and polish of our visual content. In this role, your work will directly elevate how customers, partners, and employees connect with our brand narrative globally.

How You’ll Find Success

  • Dual-Discipline Craft: Exceptional skills in both motion graphics and static graphic design principles (typography, layout, color theory, pacing, and timing).

  • Core Technical Mastery: Deep fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop), Figma, and Frame.io.

  • Visual Storytelling: Ability to translate complex or abstract concepts into compelling storyboards, animatics, style frames, and final animations.

  • Agile Execution: Strong time management skills to organize project queues, prioritize multiple requests, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Collaborative Mindset: An open, positive approach to receiving feedback, iterating, and working alongside editors, producers, and directors.

  • Systemic Thinking: A drive to build and evolve reusable motion templates and design systems to maintain visual quality at scale.

How You’ll Grow

  • Expand your technical capabilities by exploring and integrating 3D animation tools like Cinema 4D or Blender into global campaign deliverables.

  • Influence brand evolution by building, maintaining, and scaling global motion design systems used across the broader creative organization.

  • Sharpen your strategic creative skills by participating in early-stage concept creation and creative direction alongside senior video producers and strategists.

Things You’ll Do

  • Elevate video narrative impact by designing and animating lower thirds, title cards, kinetic typography, animated logos, transitions, and explainer sequences.

  • Maximize content reach by adapting graphics and animations across multiple aspect ratios and formats for social, web, and event platforms.

  • Scale creative consistency by developing, maintaining, and evolving motion graphics templates and design systems aligned with Qualtrics brand guidelines.

  • Drive cross-functional alignment by producing storyboards, animatics, thumbnails, key art, and style frames during early production phases.

  • Maintain production hygiene by managing asset libraries, maintaining software/project files, and troubleshooting dual-platform systems (PC + Mac).

  • Push creative boundaries by researching emerging trends in motion design and recommending software or workflow enhancements to the team.

What We’re Looking For On Your Resume

  • A curated portfolio or demo reel demonstrating strong capabilities in both motion design (timing, easing, keyframing) and static graphic layout.

  • Demonstrated experience creating motion assets within an agency, studio, or corporate in-house creative environment.

  • Deep hands-on proficiency with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, and Frame.io.

  • Proven ability to self-manage timelines, organize project queues, and collaborate effectively with video editors and producers.

  • Exposure to 3D motion design tools (Cinema 4D/Blender) or experience designing for social-first vertical and square formats is a plus.

US Demographic Questions

Why are you being asked to fill out two sets of demographic questions? Qualtrics is required by the federal government to distribute the Equal Employment Opportunity questions exactly as they are written. However, we recognize that the questions do not fully capture the fullness of a person’s identity and experience when it comes to gender identity, sexual orientation and race. DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) is a cornerstone of our company culture. We are committed to inclusivity in our hiring process and want to give you the opportunity to self-describe your identity.

With this in mind, we invite you to participate in this additional set of voluntary demographic questions. The data collected will be used anonymously and in aggregate, so we can evaluate our processes to ensure we’re providing equal opportunities to applicants from all backgrounds. Your responses, or your choice not to respond, will not be associated with your specific application and will not in any way be used for individual hiring or compensation decisions.
