Video Producer & Editor

Why We Have This Role

At Qualtrics, video content and original storytelling play a vital role in how we connect with our global audience and elevate our brand presence. We are seeking a Producer to help launch and grow a new slate of original video shows. Working alongside video editors, graphic designers, and marketing strategists, you will own the editorial lifecycle—from researching story angles and booking compelling guests to conducting interviews and directing on-set logistics. In this role, your narrative intuition and execution will directly shape our original video programming and expand how audiences experience Qualtrics.

How You’ll Find Success

  • Narrative Storytelling: Strong editorial instincts for sourcing story angles, structuring show formats, and writing sharp interview questions.
  • Guest Sourcing & Outreach: Proactive communication skills to identify, vet, book, and build relationships with high-caliber guests.
  • On-Set Leadership: Ability to direct behind-the-camera interviews, troubleshoot on the fly, and keep production schedules running smoothly on shoot days.
  • On-Camera Presence: Confidence and polish to step in front of the lens as an on-camera fill-in host when required.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: An open, constructive attitude when partnering with editors, designers, and marketing stakeholders to bring show concepts to life.
  • Multi-Show Management: Exceptional organizational skills to manage guest pipelines, logistics, and production notes across concurrent series.
  • Production Versatility (Bonus): Hands-on shooting or video editing skills paired with a passion for digital content creation.

How You’ll Grow

  • Build and scale an original content strategy from the ground up, directly shaping brand-led video shows for global audiences.
  • Sharpen your executive interviewing and on-camera hosting skills by engaging with industry leaders, experts, and guest speakers.
  • Deepen your end-to-end campaign expertise by collaborating with post-production editors, brand strategists, and multi-channel marketing teams.

Things You’ll Do

  • Launch engaging original content by researching story ideas, developing narrative themes, and writing interview outlines for new show slates.
  • Build strong guest pipelines by executing outreach, vetting candidates, and managing end-to-end scheduling from initial contact to shoot day.
  • Deliver authentic on-screen narratives by acting as on-site producer, directing interviews from behind the camera, and guiding guests to deliver compelling answers.
  • Maintain show continuity by stepping in as an on-camera fill-in host when needed, representing the brand with energy and polish.
  • Elevate post-production quality by collaborating with editors and designers to ensure each episode meets brand guidelines and campaign goals.
  • Sustain operational efficiency by maintaining guest records, scheduling assets, and production tracking systems across active shows.

What We’re Looking For On Your Resume

  • A link to a curated reel or portfolio demonstrating experience producing interview-based, narrative, or corporate video content.
  • 4-6 years of experience and a demonstrated track record of sourcing stories, booking guests, and writing narrative interview outlines.
  • Practical experience managing shoot-day logistics and directing talent or guests on set.
  • Demonstrated comfort on camera, with prior hosting or on-camera interviewing experience.
  • Prior experience with brand-led content series, camera operation, or video editing is a plus.

US Demographic Questions

Why are you being asked to fill out two sets of demographic questions? Qualtrics is required by the federal government to distribute the Equal Employment Opportunity questions exactly as they are written. However, we recognize that the questions do not fully capture the fullness of a person’s identity and experience when it comes to gender identity, sexual orientation and race. DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) is a cornerstone of our company culture. We are committed to inclusivity in our hiring process and want to give you the opportunity to self-describe your identity.

With this in mind, we invite you to participate in this additional set of voluntary demographic questions. The data collected will be used anonymously and in aggregate, so we can evaluate our processes to ensure we’re providing equal opportunities to applicants from all backgrounds. Your responses, or your choice not to respond, will not be associated with your specific application and will not in any way be used for individual hiring or compensation decisions.
