Job Summary:

The Digital Marketing Specialist supports all digital touchpoints for Crown Therapeutics Canadian business. The ideal candidate has experience in digital marketing and online content. Performance marketing aspects include paid media management, bidding strategies, cross-channel optimization, and analytics. The online content aspects include developing a holistic brand content strategy, ensuring our brands connect with consumers to drive brand awareness, purchase intent, and conversion on Amazon.ca, Well.ca, ShoppersDrugMart.ca, Walmart.ca, Instacart.ca, and other retailer sites and physical stores.

 

Reporting to:    Director, Media & Brand Engagement

Location:     Johnson City, TN (4 days/week onsite) or Nashville, TN (hybrid)

 

Responsibilities/Essential Duties:

  • Serve as main point of contact on Paid Media Team for all International activities, and internal expert on International digital landscape.
  • Collaborates with the Marketing Manager, brand management team, Sales and media agency to understand strategies for Consumer Skincare brands in international markets, and helps deliver results through brand and performance marketing.
  • Coordinates with Digital Shelf Content Manager and vendors on review generation programs and share of voice.
  • Participates in weekly broker meetings, wrap up meetings, monthly agency meetings, and bi-weekly international marketing alignment meeting, ensuring project timelines and deliverables are on track.
  • Attends and supports retailer pre-planning, annual line-reviews, mid-year performance review, end-of-year performance review, and key retailer market meetings.
  • Collaborates with Digital Shelf Content Manager and Creative team to ensure brands’ presence on 3rd party retailer sites supports key strategic initiatives, product launches, top sellers, seasonal campaigns, and trends.
  • Analyzes data from diverse sources, including ad platform, internal sales data and industry trends. Make active recommendations that align with overall brand strategies and financial goals.
  • Monitors, reviews and makes optimization recommendations for all paid marketing channels.
  • Optimizes retailer brand websites and Amazon content for conversion.
  • Manages all aspects of creative delivery for projects they lead, including writing creative briefs, presenting briefs to creative teamcollaborating with team to resolve questions, and ensuring final deliverables meet needs.
  • Monitors industry trends to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Utilizes analytics to monitor traffic, customer behavior, sales trends, and feedback to gain consumer insights.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree & 2+ years' directly related experience.
  • Self-motivated, action-oriented, and analytical; able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Up to 10% travel, including travel to Canada.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in MarketingDigital Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience with digital advertising, including Google Ads, social ad platforms, etc.
  • Familiarity with Canadian market.
  • Basic understanding of French language.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce and online marketing metrics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time-management and prioritization skills, and experience delivering to strict deadlines.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, and to move projects forward effectively and efficiently.
  • Salsify experience.
