Label Control Coordinator

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for ensuring that all component inventory accuracy activities are performed in accordance with company policy while maintaining the accurate records of all component inventories held by Crown Laboratories. Handles all paperwork and follows all procedures to meet this goal. Verifies all inventory paperwork and documents to ensure that the orders are properly accounted for in the company’s records. Accounts for all damaged and/or returned products received from packaging department. Manages and reconciles all inventory activities such as physical/spot/ and cycle counts.

  • Location:  Onsite, Johnson City TN Manufacturing Plant 
  • Hours: Monday - Friday 

Responsibilities/Essential Duties:

 

  • Meets with internal customers to resolve any issues that are within area of control.
  • Provides direction and example for interpretation and application of company policies and procedures dealing with printed components.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of new technologies which may improve operations, and develops recommendations accordingly.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.
  • Conduct searches to locate products within the ERP system. Adjust records when these are discrepancies. Take steps to correct and prevent discrepancies.
  • Develop a program to audit returns and move returned product to its proper location.   When necessary, process proper documentation to generate a prompt credit transaction. Take appropriate action on product that is not is saleable condition.
  • Ensure all pick-tickets, shop orders, and bills of material are properly generated.
  • Communicate timing of physical inventories and any variances. Work with all departments to establish cut-off dates for inventory activity.
  • Provides weekly activities reports and monthly and quarterly trend reports to senior management; attends periodic meetings with other departments.

 

Basic Qualifications: (recruiter to advise)

 

  • Preferred Qualifications: Candidates who are High School Graduates/ Associate Degree Graduates with 7 or more years of experience.
  • Must obtain a Company Issued Fork List License within 90 days of employment with the Company

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Knowledge of Warehousing and Transportation Industry; U.S. Department of Transportation Policies and Procedures; US Department of Homeland Security Policies and Procedures; US Customs Service; Federal Aviation Administration guidelines; OSHA and TOSHA rules and regulations; and company SOPs along with a high level of knowledge of ROSS ERP system.
  • Knowledge of FDA requirements for printed labeling.
  • Operational knowledge of Warehouse management systems and the role that they play in the areas of distribution and inventory control; comprehension of complicated legal agreements; familiarity with specific terminology unique to the pharmaceutical industry; and knowledge of audit procedures used by government agencies.
  • Knowledge of PDMA Regulations, returns process, and Crowns proprietary business system.
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain principals.
  • Understanding of Customer Service theory and principals to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Basic Math skills required.
  • Experience with computers and RF scanning equipment preferred.
  • The ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
  • The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must possess the ability and desire to prioritize workload, multi task, manage time effectively, and exercise safety at all times whilst maintaining a clear and organized workspace.
  • Must be professional, positive, self- motivated, dependable and demonstrate a customer service mindset.
