Packaging Lead - 3rd Shift

Job Summary:

The role of this position is to assist in the management of all activities associated with the filling/packaging of products.  

 

Location:  Plant/Corporate

Hours: Sunday - Thursday 11PM-7:15AM

 

Responsibilities/Essential Duties:

 

  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel in following policies and procedures
  • Leads the packaging/filling rooms and coordinate activities of workers engaged in filling and packaging products
  • Evaluate and improve work processes resolving problem areas
  • Ensure product quality through a commitment to SOP adherence and training of staff
  • Assist in staffing the production areas and ensure employees demonstrate a commitment to maximizing efficiency and productivity
  • Reviews batch record entries
  • Calculate yield for finished goods
  • Keep production process flowing smoothly
  • Conform to all cGMP procedures and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing facility
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people from all backgrounds
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Consistent and punctual attendance.  
  • Must be quality driven with good attention to detail but also be able to work in a fast-paced environment
