Job Summary:

The Associate Director, SkinPen Marketing is responsible for the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing programs supporting the SkinPen brand. This role oversees the delivery of cross-channel marketing initiatives designed to drive consumer awareness, provider adoption, repeat utilization, and treatment series completion across the product lifecycle. The position plays a key role in ensuring marketing programs are executed with operational discipline, measurable impact, and alignment to overall brand and commercial priorities.

This role leads the execution of integrated SkinPen marketing programs across digital channels, influencer partnerships, experiential initiatives, customer and consumer loyalty programs, consumer rebate programs, field-facing tools, and in-office education. The Associate Director provides strategic direction and executional oversight to the Brand Manager and Consumer Engagement Manager to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with brand strategy.

Programs developed and executed through this role are designed to strengthen consumer awareness, encourage repeat utilization, and support treatment series completion, while also driving provider education, practice-level pull-through, and consistent execution within the clinical setting.

As part of broader brand management responsibilities, the Associate Director supports product lifecycle planning and contributes to brand-level forecasting by providing inputs related to program timing, utilization trends, campaign performance, and adoption insights. The role participates in monthly and quarterly business reviews and collaborates cross-functionally to support ongoing commercial planning.

The Associate Director partners closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Training, Finance, Operations, and Medical Affairs to ensure marketing initiatives align with commercial priorities, operational capabilities, and supply considerations. This role also contributes insights that inform forecasting and business planning, including campaign performance, adoption trends, utilization patterns, rebate timing, and launch cadence.

This position owns the execution and performance management of SkinPen’s digital marketing initiatives, influencer partnerships, experiential activations, customer loyalty programs, and consumer rebate programs. The Associate Director manages agency partners and external vendors to ensure programs are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory and medical guidelines while tracking performance against brand objectives.

As a steward of the SkinPen brand, the Associate Director ensures consistency across marketing initiatives and external-facing communications. The role builds and maintains strong relationships with healthcare providers, influencers, media partners, and internal stakeholders to support effective program execution and uphold brand standards.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing project timelines, prioritizing workstreams, coordinating cross-functional inputs, monitoring program performance metrics, and identifying opportunities to optimize marketing initiatives based on insights and feedback. The role supports launch readiness, ongoing program enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities/Essential Duties:

  • Oversee the execution and optimization of integrated SkinPen marketing programs across digital channels, influencer partnerships, experiential initiatives, loyalty programs, consumer rebate programs, field-facing materials, and in-office education.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Brand Manager and Consumer Engagement Manager to ensure program execution aligns with brand strategy and commercial objectives.
  • Manage agency partners and external vendors to ensure high-quality delivery of marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and monitor program objectives, key performance indicators, and success metrics.
  • Track marketing performance and analyze analytics to optimize campaign effectiveness and improve outcomes.
  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure programs are delivered within approved financial parameters.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate PR and earned media where appropriate to enhance program impact.
  • Contribute to brand forecasting and lifecycle planning by providing insights on campaign timing, utilization trends, and market adoption.
  • Present program performance, insights, and recommendations to internal stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Legal teams to ensure marketing initiatives remain compliant with applicable guidelines and standards.
  • Support launch readiness planning and ongoing lifecycle management of the SkinPen brand.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree & 5+ years’ directly related experience; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree & 7+ years’ directly related experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in marketing or advertising.
  • 7+ years’ experience with professional, agency, and/or consumer marketing, and/or sales experience.
  • Pharmaceutical, device, biotech, or aesthetics experience.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders (internal and external), as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Strong project management skills, and an ability to complete projects with limited supervision.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative and strategic thinker.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while ensuring quality results.
  • Proactive and can-do attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Manage agency partners, and coordinate workstreams to ensure strategic imperatives are met.
  • Manage budget for all marketing activities responsible for, and work with Marketing Coordinator on tracking of contracts and scopes of work for brand initiatives.
  • Experience with promotional review process.
