EH&S Technician
Job Summary:
This entry level position will support the on-going development and maintenance of the Environmental Health & Safety department at Revance, Inc.
Reporting to: EH&S Manager
Location: Johnson City, TN Onsite
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3pm- 11:30pm
Responsibilities/Essential Duties:
- Report safety and environmental issues to the EH&S Management
- Model safety practices and lead by example
- Assist in maintaining safety guidelines, procedures and policies
- Assist in preparation of shipments for recycling and disposal
- Assist with new hire orientation
- Assist in uniform delivery and distribution of supplies
- Assist in respiratory fit testing
- Maintain and file documentation needed for reporting to regulatory agencies
- Escort contractors in facility as needed
- Participation in both the Safety Committee and the Emergency Response Team
- Conduct weekly eyewash inspections and monthly fire extinguisher inspections
Basic Qualifications:
- Some knowledge of environmental and safety procedures
- Good interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Limited proficiency in Microsoft office suite
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to lift 80 pounds, stand, walk, operate equipment for extended period of time

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This position requires extended periods of standing and walking on a manufacturing floor environment. Protective equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection, gowning) must be worn as required. The role operates in a temperature-controlled pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs may be required. Must be available to respond to critical shift issues outside of scheduled hours on an as-needed basis.
