Sr. Solutions Architect | End-to-End | 100% Remote (US ONLY) 

Job Summary:

Revance is building modern, scalable digital platforms that power B2C consumer experiences, B2B commercial workflows, loyalty programs, and marketing ecosystems. We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to audit, evolve, and guide our technology stack - ensuring it scales with the business while enabling modern UX, unified data, and product led innovation, with strong ROI discipline.

This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, experience design, engineering execution, and platform architecture. The Senior Solutions Architect ensures that technology decisions accelerate product outcomes, enhanced UX and design, and move the organization toward a cohesive, unified Revance experience across channels and brands.

The role reports into Product & Data to stay tightly aligned to product vision and roadmap, with dotted line‑ collaboration to Enterprise Systems leadership to ensure enterprise consistency, data integrity, and platform governance.

Responsibilities/Essential Duties:

Technology Stack Audit & Strategy

  • Conduct a holistic audit of the current technology landscape across web platforms, Salesforce, ERP, Martech, data, integrations, DevOps, and analytics.
  • Identify scalability risks, UX constraints, redundancies, cost inefficiencies, and technical debt.
  • Recommend which platforms to scale, consolidate, modernize, or retire, balancing speed, flexibility, security, and ROI.

Product Aligned Architecture & Road-mapping

  • Define and own a technology stack roadmap aligned to the product roadmap, ensuring technology evolves in lockstep with business priorities.
  • Ensure architectural decisions support modern, mobile-first, design‑ system‑ ‑driven experiences without constraining UX or innovation.
  • Drive alignment toward a unified Revance experience across B2C and B2B touchpoints.

Solution Architecture & Design

  • Own end-to-end solution architecture from user experience through integrations, data flow, and deployment.
  • Design scalable solutions across:
    • Modern web stacks (headless CMS, component based front ends, Vercel/GitHub CI/CD)
    • Salesforce ecosystems (CRM, OCE, Loyalty Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.)
    • ERP integrations supporting order-to-cash and commercial workflows
    • Martech and integration layers (Hygraph, APIs, Zapier, analytics, chatbot)
  • Produce clear architecture diagrams, standards, and technical decision records.

UX Enablement (Technology Should Not Constrain Design)

  • Partner with Product and Design early in discovery to ensure technology choices enable modern UX patterns, rapid iteration, and experimentation.
  • Champion architectures that support design systems, personalization, accessibility, scalability and performance.
  • Proactively flag technical decisions that may limit experience quality or speed.

Integration, Data & Platform Cohesion

  • Define and govern integration patterns across web, Salesforce, ERP, and data platforms.
  • Promote shared APIs, reusable services, and standardized data flows enabling unified data layer/system.
  • Partner with Data teams to support analytics, personalization, and future AI‑enabled experiences.
  • Ensure consistency of customer, consumer, provider, and loyalty/transaction data across systems.

Cross Platform Leadership (Salesforce & ERP Alignment)

  • Work in close dotted-line partnership with Salesforce and ERP teams to:
    • Align solution designs with enterprise platform standards
    • Ensure scalability, security, and compliance
    • Balance local product needs with global platform integrity
  • Serve as a bridge between product teams and enterprise platforms, resolving trade‑offs thoughtfully.

Engineering Guidance & Partner Enablement

  • Serve as a technical authority and mentor for internal engineers and external agencies.
  • Review designs and implementations; unblock complex technical challenges.
  • Establish best practices for performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.

Quality, Security & Compliance by Design

  • Embed quality, observability, reliability, and resilience into architectural decisions.
  • Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, GDPR, SOC2, PCI where applicable).
  • Support release readiness, environment strategy, and rollback planning.

ROI & Decision Governance

  • Establish decision frameworks for build vs. buy, vendor selection, and platform investments.
  • Balance innovation with cost efficiency and long-term‑ maintainability.
  • Partner with leadership to ensure technology spend aligns with measurable business value.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree & 8+ years’ directly related experience.
  • Exposures to AI-enabled product architectures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Advanced degree (Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or MBA with a technology focus) is a plus.
  • Salesforce and cloud architecture certifications (Salesforce Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure/GCP equivalents) are strongly preferred, with a focus on applying best practices to real-world, multiplatform enterprise environments.
  • 8–12+ years of experience in solution or platform architecture across web, APIs, and enterprise systems.
  • Strong hands-on experience with modern web architectures (headless CMS, componentized front ends, CI/CD).
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce ecosystems (CRM, OCE, Marketing Cloud, Loyalty, integrations).
  • Experience designing integrations with ERP systems supporting commercial and financial workflows.
  • Proven experience supporting B2C and/or B2B digital platforms at scale.
  • Strong integration and API design expertise.
  • Solid grasp of security, identity, privacy, and compliance in regulated environments.
  • Experience working with external development agencies and vendors.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to product, design, business, and executive stakeholders.
  • Comfortable operating in fast‑moving, evolving environments.
  • Martech and analytics experience.
  • Healthcare, pharma, or regulated industry background.
  • Experience with platform consolidation and cost optimization.
