HCP Education & Content Development Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HCP Education & Content Development Manager  to lead the development of clinical and educational content for healthcare professionals (HCPs). This role is responsible for creating high-quality, clinically accurate materials that support HCP education across live programs, field training, digital learning platforms, Congresses and Advisory Boards.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in medical or scientific writing, experience in aesthetics or injectables, and a passion for translating complex clinical concepts into clear, engaging educational experiences. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Clinical Education, and external partners to ensure content is scientifically accurate, compliant, and aligned with brand strategy.

  • Reporting to: Executive Director, HCP Education  
  • Location:  Remote, Nashville preferred 
  • Salary: *$85,000-$95,000 annually + annual performance bonus 

*The final salary offered will depend upon factors that may include but are not limited to the quality and length of experience, education, and geographic location.

Responsibilities/Essential Duties:

Medical & Educational Content Development

  • Develop HCP-focused educational materials including:
    • Training presentations and slide decks
    • LMS modules and digital learning content
    • Speaker scripts, workshop materials, and educational videos
    • Product guides and procedural/technique-based resources
  • Content decks for annual dermatology and plastic surgery conferences and symposia including Advisory Boards, product theatres and KOL decks
  • Translate complex scientific and clinical concepts into clear, engaging educational content for HCP audiences
  • Ensure all materials are clinically accurate, scientifically substantiated, and compliant with regulatory and brand standards
  • Align educational content with current clinical evidence, product messaging, and strategic objectives

Content Management & Optimization

  • Maintain and continuously improve HCP education materials across brands, programs, and delivery platforms
  • Update educational content to reflect new clinical data, product enhancements, market trends, and field insights
  • Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and clinical positioning across all educational assets
  • Support content version control and lifecycle management processes

LMS & Digital Learning Support

  • Support development, implementation, and maintenance of digital learning content within LMS platforms (e.g., Docebo or similar systems)
  • Assist in building structured learning pathways and curricula for HCP learners
  • Optimize content for digital engagement, learner experience, and accessibility
  • Collaborate with digital learning and instructional design teams to enhance educational effectiveness

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Clinical Education, and Commercial teams to align educational priorities and messaging
  • Collaborate with creative agencies, designers, and multimedia teams to produce high-quality educational materials
  • Incorporate stakeholder, faculty, and field feedback into ongoing content refinement and development
  • Support alignment between scientific communication and commercial education initiatives

Content Operations & Platform Management

  • Manage content workflows within Veeva, including submission, review, approval tracking, and document management
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to support webinars, virtual broadcasts, advisory programs, and HCP educational events
  • Ensure timely execution and compliance of educational content deliverables

Content Library Management

  • Maintain a centralized repository of approved medical and educational content
  • Ensure materials remain current, compliant, accessible, and properly archived
  • Support field teams and faculty with access to approved resources and educational materials

Field & Faculty Support

  • Provide educational content support for HCP educators, trainers, faculty, and field-based teams
  • Ensure consistency in clinical messaging, product education, and procedural training
  • Gather and integrate field insights and learner feedback into future educational content strategies

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree & 5+ years’ directly related experience;
    • OR
  • Bachelor’s degree & 7+ years’ directly related experience.
  • Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or aesthetics experience 
  • Experience supporting Promotional Review Process 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in marketing or advertising.
  • 7+ years’ experience with professional, agency, and/or consumer marketing, and/or sales experience.
  • Pharmaceutical, device, biotech, or aesthetics experience.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders (internal and external), as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Strong project management skills, and an ability to complete projects with limited supervision.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative and strategic thinker.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while ensuring quality results.
  • Proactive and can-do attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Manage agency partners, and coordinate workstreams to ensure strategic imperatives are met.
  • Manage budget for all marketing activities responsible for, and work with Marketing Coordinator on tracking of contracts and scopes of work for brand initiatives.
