Job Purpose Statement
To accurately ship customer orders and packages in a timely manner. Receive products and stage for quality checks.
Main Accountabilities
- Responsible for the shipping of materials from Crown Laboratories to our vendors and customers.
- Responsible for all activities associated with the receiving of components, raw materials, and distributed products
- Review and package all invoiced orders assuring complete accuracy for shipment, working closely with the Dallas office.
- Use the UPS shipping system to ship all invoices.
- Take inventory once per month listing part number, lot number and quantity of each item in inventory.
- Keep inventory control informed of all changes in inventory quantities.
- Receive all returned goods and document so they can be put back in stock or determine if damaged or out of date stock needs to be destroyed with QA approval.
- Assist in other areas as needed.
- Follow all cGMP and Standard Operating Procedures.
Job Related Qualification/Skills
Must possess knowledge of daily shipping and receiving functions. Three to five years warehouse experience required. Basic knowledge of computer experience required. Basic math required. Operation of a forklift preferred. Consistent and punctual attendance.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
