As a Recruiter - Games (Contract) on the China Game Studio Recruiting Team, you will lead recruiting efforts for both contract and full-time positions supporting our game development teams. You'll partner closely with hiring managers and cross-functional stakeholders to attract and hire exceptional talent across a wide range of disciplines. Drawing on your recruiting expertise, you'll develop sourcing strategies, advise hiring teams on market insights and hiring approaches, and deliver an outstanding candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle. Your work will play a critical role in building high-performing teams that create exceptional experiences for players around the world.
You will report to the APAC Recruiting Lead.
Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for both contract and full-time hiring across multiple game development disciplines.
- Partner with hiring managers and business stakeholders to develop hiring strategies and deliver against hiring goals.
- Build and maintain diverse, high-quality talent pipelines through proactive sourcing of passive candidates globally.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including intake meetings, sourcing, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding coordination.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through clear communication, thoughtful engagement, and efficient hiring processes.
- Partner with People team stakeholders to continuously improve recruiting operations, onboarding, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Leverage recruiting metrics, market insights, and talent intelligence to inform hiring strategies and improve recruiting outcomes
- Ensure recruiting practices align with Riot's hiring standards, compliance requirements, and business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience supporting technical and creative hiring within the games industry or a high-growth technology company.
- Experience recruiting for both contract/contingent and full-time positions.
- Experience recruiting across disciplines such as Art, Design, Production, Software Engineering, and Insights.
- Demonstrated success developing sourcing strategies and building passive candidate pipelines.
- Experience partnering with hiring managers and senior leaders to influence hiring decisions and talent strategies.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices, interview processes, and candidate experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using recruiting data and market insights to improve hiring outcomes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with Greenhouse or comparable Applicant Tracking Software
- 3+ years of experience recruiting talent within the games industry
