Job Summary
The Business Operations and Strategy team drives strategic and cross-functional initiatives across the company, with a focus on supporting our product-led business units to set and execute their product, business model, go-to-market, growth, and operational strategies; to develop, launch, iterate, and scale successful products; to measure progress, develop insights, and use quantitative analysis to drive effective decision-making at all levels; to develop financial models and long-term forecasts; and to advance operational excellence across all functions.

About You

  • Education and experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field or equivalent practical experience
    • 15+ years of experience in operations, business analysis, or related roles in high-growth technology companies
  • Business acumen
    • Demonstrated ability to understand complex, scientific- and tech-heavy business units and market
    • Demonstrated capacity to switch between high-level strategic thinking and detailed execution
    • Significant experience building business models & analyzing markets 
  • Operational muscles
    • Track record of scaling operations in a fast-paced, data-driven environment 
  • Project management and communication skills
    • Excellent stakeholder management skills (Director/VP level)
    • Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate the value of complex technical products to non-technical audiences
    • Track record of leading strategic and operational initiatives, working with leaders and teams, and influencing executive stakeholders
  • Growth mindset
    • Multicultural perspective and service leadership mindset with strong interpersonal skills adept at working cross-functionally and managing relationships across diverse teams 
    • Curiosity about and eagerness to dive deeply to understand new fields of science, new forms of quantitative AI, new markets, new customers, new partners, and new teammates

It’d be great if you also had one or more of these

  • Startup experience in fast-scaling environment
  • Experience/understanding of AI, quantum technology, or related technical fields
  • Experience/understanding of a science-based or tech-heavy industry – even better if it’s biopharma, cybersecurity, aerospace, medical devices, or financial services
  • Expertise leading commercialization efforts to support successful product launches and market penetration

The US base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be $229k - $321k per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This role may be eligible for annual discretionary bonuses and equity.
